Please don't be coy. We both know there have been a myriad of accusations about Mueller's investigation, him personally, and the investigative team in an attempt to discredit the report they will inevitably publish.

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know it had to meet your lofty standards. In that case, Mueller is a bum and should give back that Purple Heart and Bronze Star. How could I be so dense.

What does that have to do with his professional career as a bureaucrat - a prosecutor?

Sorry again. Until you enlightened me, I didn't realize how government service was a wasted life. So, I guess this would include things like public defenders, prosecutors, judges, senators, congressmen/women, governors, mayors, county commissioners, You know, dead beats.

"Hey! He cost the taxpayers of MASS about a hundred million dollars for false prosecution and imprisonment. That's pretty big!!!"

"Isn't amazing that none of his fans know about that?"

    Smearing Robert Mueller
Sean Hannity and others are blaming the special counsel for one of the F.B.I.’s worst scandals. But there is no evidence to back up their charges.

I am amazed that fans of Mueller like you are still unable to offer even a single (1) example of a significant career accomplishment other than occupying an office in the bureaucracy.

And still you are unable to offer even 1 (one) example of a significant accomplishment of Robert Mueller while in the FBI and the DOJ.

What did Mueller accomplish while in Boston?

"In the early 1980s, before Mueller became the second longest serving FBI director, he was a criminal prosecutor in the Boston office of the Justice Department and then became the Acting U.S. Attorney in Boston from 1986 through 1987.
It was Mueller’s actions during that time that raised questions about his role in one of the FBI’s most controversial cases involving the FBI’s use of a confidential informant that led to the convictions of four innocent men, who were sentenced to death for murders they did not commit."
BOSTON GLOBE, One Lingering Question For FBI Director Robert Mueller, By Kevin Cullen, March 20, 2018.

I was going to say I just don't understand these attempts to diminish Mueller's stature, as if his professional record isn't enough, but I do. It's a transparent effort to de-legitimize his upcoming report. Just reaching the position of serving 10 years as FBI director is an accomplishment in itself.

    Not true.

"The Majority repeats spurious claims from its widely-criticized “FISA Abuse memorandum,” which alleged FBI and DOJ abuses in seeking authorization to surveil Page. As the Minority’s publicly-released memorandum of January 29, 2018 made clear, UNCLASSIFIED 44 UNCLASSIFIED “DOJ’s October 21, 2016 FISA application and three subsequent renewals carefully outlined for the Court a multi-pronged rationale for surveilling Page, who at the time of the first application, was no longer with the Trump campaign. DOJ detailed Page’s past relationship with Russian spies and interaction with Russian officials during the 2016 campaign [REDACTED]. DOJ cited multiple sources to support the case for surveilling Page—but made only narrow use of information from Steele’s sources about Page’s specific activities in 2016, chiefly his suspected July 2016 meetings in Moscow with Russian officials.”128 (See Appendix F.)

Has it occurred to anyone Mueller's had enough and is looking for a way out? Is it possible that the whole thing's scripted and both Mueller and Trump will both walk away with some face saving statement that will officially end this farce?

Good question. I've asked that question about Jim Comey. What did he NOT screw up? What about any criminal investigation into Fast And Furious? Sure did a bang-up job stopped the Russian interference and collusion he insists was happening on a massive scale on his watch. He destroyed evidence concerning the emails. Immunity was given to people who were suspects in exchange for nothing. Made a complete ass of himself 11 days before the election. Comey presented a request for a warrant to spy of Trump and his campaign - and now REPEATEDLY has said he has no idea whether what he presented to the federal judge was true or all just a bunch of lies - making it clear he didn't care if what he signed was true or not.

Name anything GOOD Comey did as director of the FBI?

Again - what is Mueller's professional record of accomplishment?
There must be a reason why can't you answer? ;-)

Mark Levin questioned the timing of all this.
That within a few hours of writing the New York Times article
citing those 50 questions they also ANSWERED those 50 or so
questions.Quite a feat. The N.Y.Times just so happened to get ahold'
of those 50 questions and then also managed to " answer " them as
well.In the space of a couple hours.
This is Obama World.A complete and utter unravelling of
credibility and honest reporting. It's all a world of leaks and lies
and smears and frame-ups and Groupthink and Saul Alinsky rules.
At the end of the day ... Maybe the sun is too worn out to put
    on Pajamas.

I am no fan of Trump but, I believe in due process. This Mueller witch hunt is a black mark on our corrupt system .. reminds me the McCarthy era.

How a guy with a proven track record of going after innocents, with little regard for the truth or the process, has risen so high in our system is testament to how corrupt it is. Mueller is a scum bucket - just like Starr was.

This investigation has gone on way to long and has drifted way outside its scope. Republican controlled congress should be giving him a deadline - 1 more month - or should we just have this investigation continue for the entire Trump term ... we will soon be at the halfway point.

Democrats - if they had any brains or if they cared about due process - would be the one's demanding an end to the investigation.

This would help to counter the widely held perspective that they have no plan and are just sitting on their laurels hoping for an anti-Trump/Red sentiment.

I can't find any "GOOD" accomplishments from Comey/Mueller and their ilk. As
OTOH, they have combined to destroy the integrity, reputation and credibility of the FBI.

"But the FBI is facing one of the greatest tests of its 110 years. In the coming months, it must fix a litany of internal problems, fend off outside attacks on its trustworthiness and pursue investigations touching on a sitting President, at the same time a growing number of Americans are asking themselves: Can we trust the FBI?"

I guess BAD accomplishments enhance the careers of DC swamp critters.

    Yes, MSM = FAKE NEWS

    Here is another example:

"CORRECTION: Earlier today, NBC News reported that there was a wiretap on the phones of Michael Cohen, President Trump’s longtime personal attorney, citing two separate sources with knowledge of the legal proceedings involving Cohen.

But three senior U.S. officials now dispute that, saying that the monitoring of Cohen’s phones was limited to a log of calls, known as a pen register, not a wiretap where investigators can actually listen to calls."
