Yeah, I guess you are hiding your anomalous genius using a fake name making the
big bucks handing out your opinions overpriced at free.

Yet the rest of us live in the United States and understand that there are thousands
of restrictions on our liberties, what a shame common sense is not one of yours.

let me see if I understand what you have said: you have accused another poster-one who is almost always correct in his posts on gun issues, as having no common sense?

do you understand that common sense is folded, spindled and mutilated when people demand that liberty is restrained for no other reason than to slake the political agenda of those who seek to limit the rights of others? FEW if any of the anti rights laws that anti gun types seek to impose come close to even brushing the concept of common sense as crime control methods

Criminals cannot own any guns-whether they hold 5 rounds or 40. So a magazine limit does nothing to impact a criminal, whether his firearm has 40 rounds or 1, he is guilty of being a felon in possession, ALL magazine limits do is harass people who can own firearms

so common sense dictates that such laws are idiotic as crime control measures

And there are many opposing the constant, left driven, drip and erosion of liberty

Yet, removing rights and liberty is what you advocate.

Criminals can and do, thanks to the thousands of gun shows Americans have to endure
that can't be bothered to even do a causal check on the buyers' background.

Except when they right a check.

you again continue to spread falsehoods. You have been edified that few criminals get guns from gun shows, and those who do, its normally since a straw purchase made at a gun show is counted as a gun show being the source of a criminal's guns.

claiming Americans have to "endure" gun shows proves, beyond any doubt , that what you really hate is legal gun ownership, not armed criminals.

I think those who hate our rights to keep and bear arms see gun owners as the real criminals because we gun owners-especially those of us who oppose the creeping crud of collectivist thought (the thought that generates most of the anti gun legislation) -vote against the political agenda that the Anti rights coalition wants. DEFENDING OUR SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHTS is the "real crime" to the anti rights groups, not armed criminals who tend to vote the same way as gun banners do

Back to your BS... thousands of gunshows with FFLs selling guns to felons. And then, in regard to making the NCIS available to private sellers, you oppose that.

if you examine her or his posts in their entirety, the only rational conclusion you can come to, is that what really upsets that poster is legal gun owners willing to vote for their second amendment rights.

the hatred of gun owners comes from two things (other than violent criminals not liking being shot)

gun owners blew the BS whistle on the Democrat party's scheme 50 years ago to pretend that their gun control plots were a valid way to combat street crime without upsetting a major Democrat party constituency.

and as a result of the above, gun owners started lobbying for mostly GOP candidates (not always, for example Richard Cordray of ohio was the pro gun AG, who ran against Republican Gun hater Mike DeWine and the NRA endorsed the Democrat and lots of us NRA members voted for him). this led to groups that hate the GOP agenda-tax hikers, abortion activists, homosexual rights advocates, etc, resenting the NRA and its members for helping elect pro gun candidates who also were perceived as hostile to left wing causes. Gun control schemes are often nothing more than thinly veiled attempts to punish gun owners and the NRA for our votes

over the years I have run into dozens of posters or people in real life who are gay activists and they hate the NRA. and I ask them why and its invariably because they don't like the NRA supporting candidates who are often-as a COLLATERAL MATTER-anti gay rights or at least oppose what gay activists see as the only proper position. several articles I have read over the years note that gun control is a weapon every group that sees white conservative Christian males as their enemy politically, uses. I believe the National Review had several articles raising that theme (I will try to find one of them) and noted that is why gun control is part of the agenda of diverse groups who are united only because they see white conservative Christian males as the main opposition

What a shame over seventy percent of gun owners support universal
    background checks.

    And they vote.

and few of them vote for gun banning or gun restricting politicians

why is it every time one of your factually bankrupt posts get trashed, you come back with some idiotic and worthless claims about the popularity of a law where the poll questions don't tell the whole story? is it because you don't understand the issue enough to actually muster a relevant defense or is it because you really aren't here to actually debate the issues?

    Again: Irrelevant to my post.
Constitutional carry states have a murder rate 36.5% lower than may/no issue states
Constitutional carry states have a firearm murder rate 36.2% lower than may/no issue states
You may not like these facts, but they remain facts.

You refuse to understand that every gun show is subject to every federal and state law, including background checks.
