    He kind of earned respect by becoming the President of the United States, lol. What's classless is people who disrespect others simply because their beliefs are not the same. You guys are classless individuals and none of you deserve any respect.

    Actually he does have something to do with me...he can't keep his hands out of of my, my children's, and (not even conceived, yet) grandchildren's pockets.

    As it's been reiterated a thousand times in this thread, respect is earned, not given.

    I have more respect for Obama than those that support him. Obama is an idiot. But after the buffoon Bush started destroying our great republic, any idiot could have won as long as they were effective of being anti bush.

    PatrickT here is really hoping for that totalitarian government.

    A few of the conservatives here really don't like democracy, being that it allows too many of the wrong sorts of people to vote.

    Where's the hypocrisy? In Post 306 where you stated that the people who don't agree with YOUR beliefs are "classless" and don't "deserve any respect". Since you do not respect those that show disrespect for others based on their beliefs, you must not respect yourself, either. :omg:

    Like I said, respect is earned, and if I show disrespect towards Adolf Hitler or Joseph Stalin or any other amoral individual based on their beliefs, rest assured I'll wear your scorn as a badge of honor...

    A book title "Check Point" was publichsed and it was about 2 anti war protestors talking about the MURDER of Pres Bush

    The NY Times gave a favorable review of a movie "Death of a President" made in 2006

    It is not uncommon for "tolerant" liberals to wish death on their politcal opponents simply because they have a different POV on the role and size of government

    and commit the unforgivable sin of WINNING elections that libs feel they are entitled to win
