the spending increase is what saved us from the recession. It was required in order to get us out of the mess republicans left us with.

of course the stimulus pulled us out of the recession. Obama left the economy better than bush ever had it in the entirety of his term as president. lol, of course we had a full recovery.

UE is a lagging factor in a recession. Obama took office losing 700,000 jobs per month. He handed over an economy that was soaring, record high stock prices and UE under 5%.

He was a wildly successful president.

The conservative voters who prior to the civil rights act would have voted Democrat, and attacked Republicans as Elitist, now happily vote for the same elitists. It's sad really.

 

You left out a few things here. The Dem elitists like Buffet, Soros. et all run the Democrat Plantation. There are a lot of other 1%ers in on the club as well who manage the serfs and indigents with their talking points and election primaries. They hold the carrot of "free stuff" to wield power. It's what they do.

 

And Republicans elites hold the carrot of "You might be rich someday too so give us all your money" (trickle down economics in a nutshell)
