People are suggesting that with regularity, and say it will be difficult but not impossible. If I was a Democrat I'd be clamoring for that, most likely. But the powers that be and a good chunk of voters seem to think hes the man. I cant understand that, but the mindset of a Democrat has eluded me for some time. Its like trying to learn a new language.

I have faith in Barr and Durham.

77% love and will vote for the guy. Joe Biden......41.8% Favorable........47.7% unfavorable. I can't wait to see the Presidential debates.

Come November Trump will be the Republican nominee. At present it looks like Biden will be the Democrat nominee. No problem who the Republicans will vote for. They will vote for Trump. Republicans love America and are not going to vote for a party like the Democrats who have a low moral compass and wish to take the country into an area of socialism/communism. If Biden is the best they can come up with, I understand, why they have him hiding in the basement.

How so? Please elaborate. I always am interested in how Democrat/socialist/communist view the world. I hear a lot of complaining and moaning but no platform of ideas how they are going to make things better. Spying on American citizens by members of the last administration, if true, would be considered a serious embarrassment. Sending over spending bills filled with pork for items like the Arts and Humanities, which has nothing to do with Corona Virus is an embarrassment. Funding of a false dossier by the DNC and others from both parties to use as a weapon against a Presidential candidate is an embarrassment. The whole impeachment narrative used by the Democrats, using untrue fabricated evidence and collusion by the FBI,CIA, NSA and members of Congress and the previous White House was a treasonous embarrassment. When it comes to embarrassment you need not look any farther than the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and her henchmen Adam Shift and Gerald Nadler.

Why would you want to replace Biden with Bernie or Liz? There even worse than he is. I suppose you would like to see that fruitcake Stacy from Georgia as his VP? Does Biden have any accomplishments on his resume that would make him Presidential material?

    1. Bernie and Lizzy - I don't... and didn't remotely indicate that. Just that all 3 are in their 70's and a few years either way doesn't help all that much. Lizzy would be my #2 pick for VP however.

    2. Abrams - No.... Zero federal government experience and I doubt she could deliver Georgia Blue... My pick would be the woman who should be at the head of the ticket, Amy K. The upper midwest is where the fight was in 2016 and will be again this year. She's in the perfect age range with a decade as a US Senator. Lizzy #2, Harris #3....

    3. Biden - Absolutely... 36 years as US Senator and 8 as US VP.... That's all the accomplishment I need. Experience and a cool head.... Would seem like heaven after this post-Obama shitshow...

Maybe those 23% would prefer their Pastor ran for President.....nevertheless, they will vote for Trump rather than going Socialist.

Experience of being on the wrong side of policy for 36 years (according to Democrats)....and now, an empty head.

    Google - Biden policy history.

To be honest, I don't think that Howie Hawkins expected any Trump voters to vote for him.

They may not want him, but the Democrats dont really want Biden either. The whole point is 'how much do you hate the other candidate/party'? I dont think there is any softening there as Democrats are still being Democrats.

you do know more democrats want to dump Biden than republicans that want to dump Trump

Twenty-eight percent (28%) think the party should find someone else to be their nominee,

Many Republican party loyalists would have preferred any candidate other than Trump in 2016, except perhaps for not wanting Ted Cruz who would likely have been the "outsider" GOP nominee who wanted to upset the D.C. establishment if Trump had not campaigned and received $2B in free MSM media time. Anyway, Trump pulled in a lot of people who hadn't voted in years from the Blue Dog Democrats, plus pulled 12% of pissed-off Sanders supporters. The GOP establishment RINOs were smart to welcome Trump and the millions of new voters into a larger and different tent, at least publicly.

In contrast, Democrats are not welcoming the Socialist populist faction which is trying to take over and replace their old-guard political elite establishment. Two elections in a row, the DNC has played a dirty and obvious strategy to dump Bernie and install their establishment-elite choice.

So no surprise if the RINO faction of Republicans would prefer "not Trump", or that the anti-establishment left-leaners would prefer "not Biden".

It shall be an interesting election, again, with a plurality of voters on both sides unhappy with their choice: A populist nationalist candidate (who blurts out whatever he thinks) against an old-school establishment elite candidate (with dementia).

At least you have more sense on this forum than some.
    1. During his first months at Syracuse University Law School, in 1965, Biden failed a course because he wrote a paper that used five pages from a published law-review article without quotation marks or a proper footnote. Biden has proved over and over again that he has no original thoughts.

    2. He committed plagiarism during his run for President in 1988. Plagiarism - Theft of others intellectual property without giving due credit.

3.Biden said that he graduated in the top half of his law school, when in fact, he ranked 76th out of 85. That makes Biden one of the worst type of liars.

What other Democrats said about Biden. “The basic rap against Biden,” explains Democratic Pollster Geoff Garin, “is that he’s a candidate of style, not substance.”

The Kinnock kleptomania was particularly damaging to Biden since it underscored the prior concerns that he was a shallow vessel for other people’s ideas.

Top Aide Tom Donilon claimed that Biden failed to credit Kinnock because “he didn’t know what he was saying. He was on autopilot.”

Once textual fidelity became an issue, reporters found earlier cases in which Biden had failed to give proper citation to Humphrey and Robert Kennedy. By themselves these transgressions would not have been worth noting.

With a rambling and disjointed opening statement, Biden failed to reap the benefits of public confession, even though he called himself “stupid” and his actions “a mistake.” Part of the problem is that he contradicted himself by also insisting that it was “ludicrous” to attribute every political idea.

I found this little "tid-bit" interesting.

And for Biden, there was a silver lining to being driven out of the race: It saved his life.He had In February of 1988, he had a headache that turned out to be a brain aneurysm. He had surgery, and he had to have surgery again in the spring when a second smaller aneurysm formed. “There is no doubt — the doctors have no doubt — that had I remained in the race, I’d be dead,” he told TIME later that fall, at his first event since the aneurysms. He also joked that “The good news is that I can do anything I did before. The bad news is that I can’t do anything better.”

    https://time.com/5636715/biden-1988-presidential-campaign/

I think those brain aneurysm's have caught up with Joe. Joe actually thought no scandals happened while he was Vice-president. Then again he was making his own deals with the Ukraine and Chinese for Hunter Obama may have left him out of the loop. Joe is known to have a need to keep running his mouth. Anyways joe how about Fast and Furious, how about that plane full of money for Iran so that they could fund terrorist groups all around the Middle East. Was it Joe who said "you can keep your Doctor"?. Insanity is doing the same failed thing over and over and over. Biden is about to receive his third strike.

Then why can't Biden do a television interview without a teleprompter or an earbud and a staff member whispering the answers to questions into his ear? Before they locked him in the basement, Biden's controllers couldn't keep him from yelling at potential supporters to "Go vote for someone else." Biden is mentally incapable of independently following along with an extended conversation. His mind wanders off. His mind won't last 4 years.

Yeah, last 2 years out of 8.

Reagan wouldn't have won the nomination for his first term if he'd clearly had dementia before even trying to win the seat.

Trump's approval rating among Republicans is at 90%.

I would suggest that someone write a technology ticket to be given out by the DNC leadership regarding yet another flawed computer model...
