The DOJ is the law enforcement/prosecutorial agency that prosecutes tax crimes. The DOJ even have a specific division for such crimes with attorneys who are expert or knowledgeable in such matters.

The Republicans are investigating Joe not Hunter since the DOJ is already investigating Hunter and has been for the last 4 years. We either have an incompetent DOJ or a severely politicized one.

 

False on it's face and Ken Starr did not define sex or the questions being asked during the Clinton deposition Judge Wright and Clinton's attorney did. Starr had not part in that. Starr defined what is perjury and obstruction of justice and witness tampering and subornation of perjury. You assert this great legal kind. Under the law what is submitting a false affidavit into a judicial proceeding. What is urging another person to engage in doing so? For what did Judge Wright hold him in contempt?

It was the Dems who without anything from DOJ including the year Mueller report who tried Tobias impeachment for political purposes, weaponize, to remove and then prevent Trump from running again.

 

Of course going after the family is top priority. The campaign is over, so promises about fighting inflation, crime etc are water under the bridge.

Most people knew this, and expected it, and even celebrated it, because this kind of bickering is what creates the grid-lock which we hoped for. Grid-lock is good for economy.

That was the "lie" that Ken Star used in his report. What happened was that Bill Clinton did not clarify what Star's definition was and used his own. And that lie was one of the articles of impeachment for Bill Clinton. Perjury is lying under oath. The question is "did Bill Clinton have sex with Monica Lewinski?" Bill Clinton said no he did not have intercourse with her. Sex is a very broad term, and Bill Clinton's response was a "lie of ommission" by a question that was very broad. If that question was allowed in a court of law, any good defense attorney would have objected to the vagueness of the question and would have won.

BTW,. who is "Tobias?" I did a quick search of the Mueller Report and found no such person and no results. I did a search on the internet and found one case law from 1977. The Mueller was something that the GOP did who controlled the House Blues.
