My claim was a direct response to TFs post. Your posit of my claim is misleading.

But, to be fair, I'll let TF know that his claim was entirely false.

No, its not. It couldn't be more clear.

You are the one trying to conflate a Constitutional right with an act by a private employee and every time you run from admitting it you are losing the debate.

Its clear you need a refersher on what was said.

He said: yes I will call anyone that disrespects what many in my family fought and died for a SOB including you

And you said: Which, while commendable, shows a complete misunderstanding of what they fought and died for.

He and his family can be insulted by a bunch of racists disrespecting the country's anthem. You tried to pretend they fought and died for a private employee to disrespect the anthem and nothing could be further from the truth.

Can't you just admit you didn't think before you defended these racists and pretended its a Constitutional first amendment right when it never was?

The subject is the NFL guys not taking a knee. TF said that he will call an SOB anyone who does this, inferring that it's part of the Constitution right they died for.

So either he was wrong about what they died for in this instance, or I was right in my response. Those are the only two options.

and you shouldn't force a baker to go against their deeply held beliefs either
and yes those NFL players should be forced those players represent a brand and when those actions hurts that brand financially then they need to be let go
no different then an employee voicing racist remarks

The NFL can hire and fire whomever the hell they want. Anyone that actually agrees with Trump is no conservative and needs to get their ego checked.

just because you have the freedom to do so doesn't make it right to do so
I have the freedom to walk up the street call every black person I see the N word and every gay person I see the F word does it make it right for me to do so?

You sure aren't the first to dishonestly only quote part of this Trump comment, about nationalist protestors, out of context but there you are doing it anyway.

didn't say they didn't have the right but I also have the right to call them SOBs for not showing respect to those that deserve it
there is a big difference of having the right to do something and it being right to do it

The NFL has become politicized and it started last season with the Black Lives Matter sedition on the streets and the killing of cops and rioting, looting and arson while peacefully demonstrating.

Remember the Vince Lombardi days of the NFL when almost all NFL players actually graduated from college with a bachelor degree ?
Back in 1967 Bart Starr made $100,000.

Today most of these NFL players couldn't hold down a real job in the private sector and would be sitting on the porch of their subsidized housing with a crack pipe in one hand and a 40 ouncer in the other hand waiting for their monthly government check.

Only from the government and even then not always. Try exercising your freedom of speech in a court room, people get tossed out of plenty of places for being disruptive or offensive. ESPN seems to be pretty big on firing those whose politics they merely disagree with.
