yes, it is also rude and heartful.

but i posted the image to make a political point.

we need to tolerate non-violent forms of political speech.

Three of the top ten Primetime for the week. Five of the top ten on Cable for the week.

Pretty sure NFL is doing alright and doesn't need to give a crap about any protest. Whether it be for a song or in protest of those who are protesting the song.

Best educate yourself, lest you look silly.

It's been said for years that if the NFL and NBA didn't exist we'd have the tallest and strongest doormen.

    Your inference is pure speculation.

That's easy. He clearly said it disrespects his family and he has every right to that opinion. He said nothing about the Constitution so yes you were wrong.

And you said it was "fine" Its not.

Once again the facts prove otherwise:

From The Ringer’s Kevin Clark to Bill Barnwell of ESPN to that old NFL bible—The Weekly Standard—this week saw a ton of NFL observers examine the league’s quality of play as well as the perception behind that. The headline of Clark’s piece didn’t hold back: How Football Stopped Being Fun.

How does that correlate with NFL ratings, which is more the focus of this column? Well, that depends on how you want to interpret the numbers. The invaluable Sports Media Watch reported that nine of the 13 NFL windows through Week 2 have posted a decrease this season year over year. On a positive note for the league: The Giants-Lions on Monday night game did trend up. It drew 12.3 million viewers, up 1% in viewership from Eagles-Bears last year (12.1 million). But as Sports Media Watch noted, the game was down from the 12.5 million who watched Jets-Colts on MNF in Week Two of the 2015 season.

Its still down so you can sit there and deny the reality that its not fine and further embarrass yourself or you can admit you were dead wrong.

and don't hide behind the freedom of speech because if that is the case there word be no censorship on these forums at all
I cant use the N word because that is considered rude and disrespectful so this also shouldn't be allowed

I said they are doing just fine! Nothing about that is wrong. Damn near double the #3 viewed program.

To call the NFL dying is beyond stupid. It's patently false!

Oh, it would be legal to fire them. Because part of what they are being paid to do is to represent the NFL and their individual teams, and so when they represent those organizations poorly (by portraying them as being filled with unpatriots), they are doing a crappy job for their employers.

But I think fines would be a better way of going about it. Don't fire them, just dock them pay for their crappy representative work.

NFL hasn't called for Trump to be fired simply due to his speech.

No, we do not as individuals have to tolerate stupidity. We only say it is your right to be insulting.

This isn't a free speech zone. Its a private forum. Good God you need to think this through. This private forum can ban you right now for any reason they wish. You aren't making a constitutional point by changing your avatar to something that insults most people.

I believe the ratings. One rating of #1 for one night doesn't change the reality the ratings are dropping overall and continue to drop. Keep digging.

What these overpaid, elitist, pampered athletes fail to realize is that the flag they disrespect stands for the 250,000 Young Union soldiers who died to end slavery, (that is the full equivalent of 2.5 million today). And that does not take into account the 500,000 American troops who died -- and whose coffins were covered by that flag, who saved us all from Nazi domination.

They don't care. I believe this is far more racist than it is unpatriotic. I believe they believe by doing this they insult white people and that's the goal not the nation. Its the same line the racist BLM movement has preached and many democrats that this is a racist country because whites are the majority.

If they do a mass kneeling this weekend and I bet they do they will only hurt their own pocketbooks. Trump is calling out the insertion of politics into the NFL and there has already been blow black. And when the ratings continue to drop there will be a backlash at the corporate level.
