Nikki Haley: Biden 'destroyed' everything we've done in Afghanistan

As Nikki says, this did not have to happen.
Forget Americans left there to fend for themselves. The Taliban beheads those. Write them off. Biden did.

I agree with Ambassador Haley who makes a powerful case.
If you do not agree with the Ambassador, state your case.

 

Biden screwed it up badly, obviously. In a week when desperate Afghans are getting crushed in the landing gear and falling off our planes after take-off, and we're using Apaches to clear crowds off the one remaining runway we partially control, there's no way anyone could plausibly argue this has been a well-executed withdrawal. For starters, we would be in an immensely better position if we had not abandoned Bagram ~6 weeks ago. That should have been the final jumping-off point, not KBL, which is basically indefensible and leaves us at the mercy of our famously-merciless enemies.

Even the Taliban realizes he's a complete nincompoop and may not kill our people because it's not their fault he's just that arrogant and stupid.

And they'll keep their word they gave to Trump. Who kept his word.

This, the Left blaming Trump basically omits a few key facts. The prior deal had certain preconditions, and the Taliban flat out said that if you go rogue, we're gonna go rouge too. Well, we went rogue and we paid the price.

 

"We" didn't go rogue, he went rogue. Many will suffer for his arrogant incompetence.

Let's see if those NY Times reporters make it out of Afghanistan.

The head dude, the one Trump released, says they have amnesty. Let's see if that holds. Not because of Biden, but because of the American people.

Post #4 does not make a case for what she says "being bullcrap".

The integrity of the Taliban leader's word is what will determine that.

Obviously Biden's word is no good, and a man's only as good as his word.

Taliban didn't make the deal with Biden, but as an incoming president, the situation being what it was, he surely should have honored it, and he didn't.

That doesn't change the American people any. It does speak to Biden's leadership capabilities, though.

 

Biden was a Senator for over 30 years and VPOTUS for 8. Going by experience alone he's probably the most qualified man in the world to be President
Additionally, he's been relying upon Intelligence coming from a network which has been seriously compromised by having what amounts to a traitorous mole (Trump) running the entire thing. Think if Kim Philby had somehow become the Prime Minister of Great Britain

 

Biden had an obligation to fulfill the agreement, and in so doing, he could at least keep our people safe. Now we're reliant on Taliban restraint for our people to be safe and you can bet they're enjoying rubbing this in. They get Kabul and they get the Americans begging them? Perfect win for them. Devastating loss for us.

I think the Taliban may just honor the deal. If not I hope the 82nd unleashes hell on them. Hope they have some airplane gunships nearby.

The 82nd are the real deal. I bet over 1/2 are combat-hardened, and from Afghanistan deployments.

 

I hope they honor the deal, our civilians are able to escape and we escape this situation with minimum damage.
