No police report, then? Christine Blasey Ford will not pursue her allegations any further

Mine were not all over the world news as his was.

 

And yet he's a SCOTUS Justice.

And you aren't.

 

And his name is mud in much of the world, mine isn't.

 

Kavanaugh is a winner. You? Notsomuch

 

Kav won't pursue it for a variety of reasons.

 

One thing is clearly exposed from even a casual, factual examination of history: during the past 100 years, every major conflict that the United States became embroiled in was done with a Democrat president in the White House....

Parenthetically, I'm trying to imagine what a "stone cold right wing corporatist warmonger" would consist of.... No one with the least understanding of factual history would ever accuse Woody Wilson, Frankie Roosevelt, or "Lying Lyndon Johnson" of being any kind of "right wing" ANYTHING!

World War I, World War II, the Korean "Conflict", the Vietnam War, the Balkans War, and the unprovoked overthrow of the legitimate government of Libya were all engaged in or started with a Democrat in the Oval Office. (BTW, in the aftermath of the takeover of Libya by Islamo-Nazis with the U. S. overthrow of its legitimate government, with which we AT PEACE for many years, the U. S. has not even been able to keep our Embassy open there since July of 2014... thanks, Obama!)

But, Desert Storm, the Iraq War and the unending Afghanistan debacle have belonged to RINO's, Daddy "H." Bush and his son, George W." Bush. These are mere 'rabbit-turds' compared to World War I, World War II, the Korean "Conflict", and Vietnam, of course, but they do belong to Republican presidents nevertheless....

 

A law suit by Kavanaugh would necessarily have to prove that Christine Blasey Ford knew she was lying about her many fallacious allegations. That's an incredibly high bar to get over and would demand proof of what was in the head of what appears to be a mentally ill woman motivated by partisan fury.

So that's why Kavanaugh most likely will just get on with his life as a Supreme Court justice and let the matter drop.

The real question is why would Ford simply drop the matter? She claims to have corroborating witnesses. She was sexually molested, so she says. Girls were gang raped at these parties, so she says.
Where is justice for these women? Does she not care now that her plan to derail Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation went awry?

An promised investigation into Diane Feinstein and her role in bringing Ford's testimony forward should be very interesting.
I'm very hopeful this threat wasn't just political rhetoric.

So, you want "justice" for "girls (that) were gang raped at these parties. This is a perfectly reasonable request -- provided that the charges and accusations are PROVEN. But, to dredge these totally unproven 'recollections' up from 36 years ago, with no evidence is nothing but bullshit. Surely you can SEE that....

But you've got an equally large problem in understanding the way that libel and slander CIVIL cases work if you think that someone who is libeled, slandered, and defamed has to PROVE that another's reckless accusations -- made without proof or evidence -- are false. No. That's NOT the way it works.

I'll make it simple. Let's say that I go out on a street corner in your town and start handing out printed handbills saying that YourBestFriend committed SEX CRIMES against me 36 years ago, and I went before a Congressional committee and blathered out the same thing. AND THAT I DID ALL OF THIS WITHOUT ANY PROOF WHATSOEVER.

You could literally sue my ass completely OFF... and you wouldn't have to prove anything! Truth is a defense! -- but I, being the one who libeled, slandered, and defamed YOU would be the one who has to prove that what I said and wrote against you is TRUTH. And if I cannot do that, you would own me! You could be given a gigantic award by the civil court, clean out my bank account, and garnish my income for the rest of my miserable life! It's a terrible thing to deliberately try to destroy a person with nothing but what are unproven 'ass-bubbles'....

Christine Blasy Ford, and the handlers, lawyers and politicians who helped her create a case against Brett Kavanaugh (such as it was) certainly deserve to be taken to court and relieved of much of their money. But I doubt that ever happens.

 

You're almost certainly right. Nobody's really going to sue anybody.

Blasey Ford will go back to her sweet little college teacher's job in a nice, cushy enclave of well-to-do, liberal Democrat Californians and live happily ever after. After a debacle of this magnitude it is probable that she will keep any other 'therapy session' revelations she has to herself....

 

She didn't? You know, for the "good of the nation" and her "patriotic duty" and all? No? Too bad her written and verbal libel and slander can still be actionable.

Perhaps what's worst about what these mentally-defective psychology departments is that they are inculcating in their students with an ardent belief that it is perfectly fine to vilify and destroy a person completely without any proof or evidence. THAT is the mentality of the French mob during the Reign of Terror, and the Inquisition conducted throughout Europe by the Roman Catholic Church. More recently, it was also commonly accepted as completely politically-correct by THE NAZIS. Believe anything, say anything, do anything, to destroy those you consider to be 'your enemies'....
