Cuomo isn't getting an Emmy for saving lives. He's getting an Emmy for looking good on television while telling "soothing" anecdotes about a virus which he mismanaged.

True. Cuomo is a great actor. Trump was a very responsive provider for governors who could not plan and manage their own states.

Sure. When Democrats go low....Conservatives go almost as low, but can't quite reach the bottom of the swamp pit which was dug by the left leaders and media.

Memes are great though. Cuomo told Republicans they are not welcome in New York. Hundreds of thousands of people fled Authoritarian Democrat dictatorial rule. Perhaps Cuomo saved some people afterall.

I never thought the blood was only on Trumps hands. I do think he totally ignored leading the country during this mess. He literally mocked the ones who took this seriously and ignored any expert advice.

It's not really Trump's fault. He never learned in school that the world is round, so the virus snuck up on him from behind.

You mean the part where he was following federal guidelines in relation to the nursing homes? The federal guidelines that should have included extra PPE so that it was a safe move? The PPE that was not available because a certain pandemic response team was only dishing it out to states and governors who likes the president?

 

When a politician can appear on news media broadcasts (in an official capacity) and win an Emmy, I wonder if this is entertainment satirizing politics or politics satirizing entertainment. Or do people actually applaud this stuff? Does anyone even want their elected official win an Emmy? And if I'm a politician, why would I want to be awarded as an entertainer?

~ Well let's face it - for the most part politics and show business are the same. The media gave Andy C his own show - free ! No sponsors either. It is only fitting that the star of The Andy Cuomo Show receive an award for best acting.
I understand "Covid " Cuomo is up for another honor as Man Of The Year - presented by The National Funeral Directors Association.

 

It is positive reinforcement for the true believers and the official narrative. It shows how absurd and artificial our culture has become.

I watched the National Dog Show on Thursday evening, and it too was absurd and artificial. With no more than 20 or so humans visible, all were wearing masks. It's a wonder they didn't have masks on the dogs. Nobody in the stands watching the proceedings, only cardboard cutouts, yet like the NFL they had applause piped in. Whether for the sake of the dogs or the TV audience I don't know, but it was so artificial and ridiculous.

And towards the end of the show they had a little 5 minute segment showing how dogs were being trained to sniff out the stealth virus. The narrator of the piece informed the audience that the dogs were being trained to 'save us' from the virus.
