Yep, its all about white males.

I went back and looked and couldn’t find a tread on this very same subject when Trump said he would nominate a woman.

By that standard, nominating only people from the federalist society meets that criteria.

Ill go back and find your thread where you made the same claim when Trump said he would do just that ;)

The constitution places no requirements on who is nominated. It merely gives the president the power to nominate and the Senate the power to confirm. I didn't say anything about specific criteria and neither does the constitution.

Dude what are you the ordnance department pre ww1?
If you don't want to shoot again, don't. Just because the gun can fire at cyclic rate if you work your finger like Jerry Miculek doesn't mean you should fire it that way in every case.
I can put physically more, and more accurate, fire on target with well aimed semi auto fire, faster, comfortably and without possibly exposing my position by overt movements, than you can with a bolt action.
Its like still using a cap and ball: its archaic technology that is simply not advantageous in comparison to modern technology.
Come in to the 19th century my friend. Hell, go big and upgrade to the 20th century.

Who said he wasnt going to nominate based on ideology ?

FFS man. What is the difference between a Trumps qualifier of a Federalist, and Bidens qualifier of a Woman ?

Trump said he would nominate a woman. So is it the Black part you dont like ?

I have already addressed this question once in this thread. Google Regents of the University of California v. Bakke and read the Supreme Court's decision on this case which which was based on the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment.

When Trump said he would nominate a woman it’s very possible he had already made his choice and didnt want to announce the name. Biden did just the opposite with his VP and SCOTUS picks, he announced his criteria for both and they were race and gender. Many of Biden’s people were chosen based on the boxes they checked rather than merit or qualifications.

When Ronald Reagan nominated her for the Supreme Court, he was fulfilling a campaign promise to nominate a woman. After a unanimous confirmation vote in the Senate, O'Connor took her seat on August 19, 1981.

    ...
It's not the 1st time a president made a promise of gender to fulfill a campaign promise to the USSC.

All chosen are already qualified and on a vetted list to choose from.

Then again I have read posters here that say they'd have voted for anyone/anything to be rid of the last guy! So obviously the left have a seriously low bar when it comes to president elects LMFAO ;)

BS. Your literally making that from whole cloth. Trump said he would nominate a woman, LONG before he did. So lets at least have an honest conversation.

Biden wants the SC to be representative of those it serves. Perspective matters. So much so, Turmp stand eh would ONLY nominate judges front eh federalist society. There is nothing different here than what Trump did, you just cant defend it when shown that Trump did exactly the same thing

So whats the difference here ? Gee, I wonder what that could be.

If your really worried about the SC, you would be up in arms over the Clarence Thomas scandle…..are you

You’re going to have to help me out a little as I am unaware of any promises by Trump to nominate a woman specifically because she’s a woman.

Trump vows to nominate a woman for US supreme court vacancy within a week
President says he has ‘obligation’ to fill the vacancy created by the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Well, race is an immutable characteristic, and also a protected class. The other is a professional organization. Surely even you can see the significant differences there, right?
