The assault on our democracy, the claim that it was and continues to be fraudulent, IS the doing of Trump.

He worked HARD to instill a distrust in our democratic process throughout America. And, he has not backed off of that over that last year and a half, at least.

    That is his legacy.

If you have some OTHER road that leads to Trump, go ahead and try to make your case. I'm sure there are some.

It's pointless to argue against a religious belief.

The US provoked the crisis by not honoring the agreement to expand NATO and supporting a coup that in Ukraine. The US has numerous bases in Europe and our military budget is much bigger than Russia. The US is the aggressor.

You’re rewriting history in Iraq to make yourself feel better. 81 democrats in the house and 29 democrats in the senate voted for the authorization to use force.

I don't agree with this analysis.

It is true that BClinton allowed and probably encouraged NATO to include Eastern European nations, which the US did agree not to do.

But, that does not form a justification for Russia to invade Ukraine.

The authorization was to allow Bush to decide whether to use force. I agree that there was little doubt as to what the Bush decision would be. However, Bush was given an authorization that he already had as president. And, voting to deny a power that the president already had was not warranted by the situation.

So, Bush chose war. That was his right. And, most congressmen voted not to deny him that right.

Does he really think Biden would trade in a skank for a witch?? Thomas Friedman is a greatly overrated pundit.
