Decent people don't use charitable donations and poor children as political blackmail tools. If they have the spare cash, they just give their money to the charity.

Decent people don't make offers like this:

'I have $5million to give to charity. I can give it to poor children to help save their lives. I'd be happy too give them the money - I can afford it.

If you don't do exactly as I say, I'll keep my money, and just leave them to die.'

That was one of the most sickening examples of cynical moral blackmail for political purposes that I have ever witnessed. Absulutely disgusting - well done to Obama for not giving in to such a dispicable act, whatever the documents may or may not say about his past.

 

What is equally as disgusting is the US Right, agreeing with Trump and reducing themselves to his level.

I had no idea exactly how many birther idiots still remained, they seemed to had kept quiet for a while, but are now back in force.

For the president to be attacking others personally really lowers the standards of the White House.

It's a pity that politics has become so polerised that such ludicrious and clearly immoral nonsense by him is even reported, let alone that some poeople seem to have become so blinded by their sheer hatred of Obama that they seem to even believe that Trump is acting like a decent human being in this case, just because he's being 'anti-Obama'. I know Obama ain't exactly popular among the right as a politician, and that's fair enough. Surely, though, there comes a point when 'my enemy's enemy is my friend' should no longer apply because of the behaviour of the supposed potential 'friend' in question!
