I agree with much of that. And frankly, I don't see how yet another Trump stunt is supposed to help Romney. In the end, I think it just ends up being red meat for both ends of the spectrum, with the rest of us simply nodding our heads in disbelief once again.

Trump gave up his dreams of being president.

So I don't think his personal shortcomings matter as much as Obama's.

    Don't you agree?

Aww, leave them alone. They're rightfully proud now that they can say words with three syllables. It's progress!

It's not about their 'personal shortcomings', though - it's about one attempting blackmail on the other using a threat of withdrawing an offer of a charitable donation if he doesn't do what he's told. That's well beyond an irrelevant 'shortcoming' - it's a disgusting attempt to blackmail an elected official, and a disgusting abuse of those people who might benefit from the charitable donation, were he to actually give it, threatening to withdraw the offer purely on the basis of making a political point. It's utterly dispicable, and utterly without any possible moral justification whatsover.

I find it hard to believe that anybody could have supported this move by him, and could think it in any way wrong of Obama (whatever else their opinion of him might be) to tell him exactly where he should stick it!

If Trump has that money spare and available for charity, and he would be happy (as he has claimed) to give it to charity, he should give it to charity. That's it - full stop, or period, or whatever! To do otherwise for political gain is completely despicable, and Obama is absolutely morally right in not giving in to such appauling blackmail. And yes, I would say exactly the same it it were someone doing the same to Romney, or Trump, or anyone else - this dreadful stunt from Trump transcends politics entirely, and is a simple question of knowing right from wrong.
