Obama Admin Tells Landlords They Can’t Refuse To House Criminals

I work with a registered sex offender.

He was 20, he had too much Corona, and he took a whiz in some guy's shrubbery. He will be a sex offender for the rest of his life.

 

How many convicted felonss have you rented apartments to and when? Be specific.

 

Landlords aren't required to tell a prospective tenant why their application was turned down. If it were me I'd add verbiage to the application that clearly states "by signing this application, I understand and agree that I have no right to any explanation why if this application is turned down". Make sure it's in large bold print, just above the signature space.

 

Do YOU seriously believe that there is NOBODY in the company's office that might decide to do it? The minimum-wage clerk, the dude that mops the floor...heck, the guy that delivers pizza and takes a picture of the paperwork with his phone!

Note: I am in a nice apartment that even has a full 2-bay garage...and I didn't give the guy my social security number!

 

OK, how about we park the dude that just got out of prison for rape and murder next door to YOU!

 

Depends on the person...also depends on how common the name is! Good luck finding anything useful on "Robert Smith" or "Carlos Sanchez" or "Sean Murphy" in this area.
