Excellent post from Marianne on healthcare.gov -- hits the nail on the head.

    https://www.facebook.com/Healthcare.gov

This country couldn't be more screwed and we have the Democrats to thank. One consolation... they're just as screwed as the rest of us. Wonder how eager they'll be for Republicans to run the ACA?

    Idiots.

Forum Nazis hate ACA and repeatedly spew lies about non payment of insurance premiums but the facts tell a completely different story:

    http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...lees-have-paid-premiums-insurers-say/8801241/

''etween 80% and 90% of new health exchange enrollees have paid their first month's premium, insurers told a House panel Wednesday.

"We are seeing strong membership growth and large percentages of our newly enrolled are successfully paying their premiums by the due date," Dennis Matheis, president of WellPoint's central region and exchange strategy, said.

Matheis said 70% of all new enrollees had paid their first premium, but that not all premiums were due by April 15, the deadline for which the committee had asked for numbers. About 90% of those whose first due date had passed had paid their premiums, he said.''

therefore, instead of ACA being a lie, it is the right wing propaganda that has been nothing but lies

LOL, first month premiums mean less than nothing when signing up was mandatory. It's future payments that matter. Esp when folks decide their mortgage is more important than a useless healthcare policy with a $6000 deductible.

I already answered that by telling you to ask the researchers at Harvard - if you are not literate enough to understand their writings have someone read it to you.

I did. Read the Harvard Report, that is unless you are too afraid of the TRUTH.

Meanwhile here is more reason why ACA has 61% approval:

Turns Out Obamacare Premiums Aren't More Expensive After All

Business Insider By Lauren F Friedman

    May 12, 2014 11:39 AM
When the cost of an employer-provided health insurance plan is compared to the cost of an Affordable Care Act plan bought on a state health insurance exchange, the ACA plan will be more affordable on average, a new analysis from PricewaterhouseCoopers' Health Research Institute finds.

"In 2014, the premiums for health plans offered on new state exchanges under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) are comparable to — and in some cases lower than — those being offered by employers with similar levels of coverage," the analysts concluded. "The data suggest the new exchanges are competitive with the current insurance market."

it isn't. It has a disapproval rating of 41%. http://www.politico.com/story/2013/...act-obamacare-41-percent-approval-101151.html
The 61% is from the illegal community who still receive all the free care they can eat up. There isn't enough fresh money going into the money pit to support it over the course of 2 years.
I have found that the only ones who really approve of ACA are the freeloaders and illegals. Rmember, yer boy says y'all don't have to work, now. So how is it going to be paid for?
So your numbers (which come form some obscure blog) are an outright lie.

Again you can't address the point, so you attack the source... And yet you provide no sources of your own...

In 1952, 32% of all revenue generated in the US came from large corporations.
Today, less than 10% of federal revenue comes from corporate America.

Remind me which political party keeps paving the way for corporations to be freeloaders...?

    Right...

I guess all the tax cuts that solely benefitted corporations and the extremely wealthy had nothing to do with it...

    :roflol: :roflol: :roflol:

Do some homework and you will see that building up the infrastructure and using tax revenues for it was proposed by Republican Teddy Roosevelt. Do further research and you will see that FDR based his thoughts on the writings of John Quincy Adams who based his on those of President Washington and of Alexander Hamilton. The latter wrote their ideas long before Marx was born. I have previously posted links to those writings. And it was TR who initially proposed universal heath care.

When will these anti-USA right wingers ever learn?

what I've learned today is that a socialist will lie cheat steal and murder to have their way. They will hire their dirty work to be done and scream and rant like little babies when they lose.
They are all liars and will stoop to any level to present a truth for a lie.'
    so sayeth your false god

A conservative Bush economic adviser's claim reported by notorious liar RW propaganda "Brietbart," versus the bi-partisan Congressional Budget Office:

    5-14-14
CBO’s Estimate of the Net Budgetary Impact of the Affordable Care Act’s Health Insurance Coverage Provisions

... Those amounts do not reflect the total budgetary impact of the ACA. That legislation includes many other provisions that, on net, will reduce budget deficits. Taking the coverage provisions and other provisions together, CBO and JCT have estimated that the ACA will reduce deficits over the next 10 years and in the subsequent decade. ...

    http://www.cbo.gov/publication/44176

The lie here is the RW propaganda, once again. But don't let that interfere with your make believe world for Obama bashing.

What led you to this "insight" today?
Who was murdered? Who stole, lied, or cheated? What "dirty work" are you referring to? Who has ranted more than you?

What was your false god's reason for starting an unbudgeted war against the only Arabic country with a history of fighting against Islamic extremism again? Something to do with 911? Something to do with WMDs?

    Obamacare = continued great SUCCESS

    http://www.businessinsider.com/cbo-obamacare-report-how-many-people-are-insured-2014-4

''More than 12 million people will gain health insurance under the Affordable Care Act this year, according to new projections released by the Congressional Budget Office Monday. And millions more stand to benefit from the law over the next decade ... the law's costs to the federal government are shrinking. According to the new projections, the federal government will spend more than $100 billion less on Obamacare's coverage provisions through 2024 than previously projected. That includes a downward estimate of about $5 billion this year. Overall, spending on the federal and state insurance exchanges are projected to cost 14% less than originally forecast.''

more money and lives saved every day thanks to ACA

    THANK YOU MR OBAMA! :flagus:

another red state benefits from ''Obamacare":

    http://thinkprogress.org/health/2014/05/16/3438782/hospitals-arkansas/

Preliminary survey results from Arkansas show a significant drop in the number of uninsured since the implementation of the state’s so-called private option, a compromise hammered out between Gov. Mike Beebe (D), Republican state lawmakers, and the Obama administration to provide health care coverage to low-income residents.
Data released on Thursday from 42 hospitals show that emergency room visits dropped by 2 percent, “while the number of uninsured patients in those emergency rooms dropped by 24 percent,” the Associated Press notes.

When asked to comment on this success a Republican pol declined to answer.

    Naturally.

ACA = SAVING MONEY & LIVES EVERY DAY BECAUSE IT IS A BIG TRUTH FROM THE BEGINNING.
