God in the Bible DID order genocide and even infanticide against the Amalekites....your constant subject-changing doesn't deny that fact.

God has done mass killings of the born and unborn, yet he never seems to do mass saving of same....

can you imagine if when the 911 towers fell, shortly after a God made them rise again and then people that died were saved?

now that would be a story of biblical proportions

things like that never happen during the times of such writings, the writings always occur 100's of years latter when all witnesses are dead and can no longer say.... that never happened

The Amalekites kept attacking Israel over and over again. Going to war with Amalek was a war of self defense.

Do you believe "self-defense" is a legitimate reason to kill ?

The Israelites were being harmed so they fought back and that's OK with you?

So it's OK if a woman is being harmed by a fetus and she "fights back" to the point of death.

 

Most women dont have abortions because the fetus is harming them. They do it because having a baby is INCONVENIENT.

 

So being harmed ISN'T "inconvenient"?

Tell that to the Israelites......

I wonder if Sam would have objected 3000 years ago, if an Israelite woman had decided to have an abortion after having sex with an Amalekite?

What if GOD ordered her to have the abortion???

 

It's true--it's inconvenient to not have any money. It's inconvenient to lack a family to provide emotional support or financial support. It's inconvenient to suffer from nausea so often that a woman loses her job and/or her scholarship. It's inconvenient......
