Fascists are not resisted by fascists. Your question is fundamentally illogical.

Nobody. You're imagining free speech was shut down.

How do you get to that conclusion? Who is opposing free speech? Be sure to document your answer and not just give your personal opinion.

I believe you have yet to prove anyone on this Forum supports WNs. Your deflection to Nazi Germany is noted.

Interesting! My rather old American Heritage Dictionary (1973) defines it as "A system of government that exercises a dictatorship of the extreme right, typically through the merging of state and business leadership, together with belligerent nationalism."

I'll bet yours was printed after mine and after the corporate shift to a "softened" definition of fascism and a few other things embarrassing to the right.

Oh, was I imagining the event being shut down then?

Your words. The radical left came to Charlottesville specifically to shut down free speech. They succeeded.

If the Neo-Nazis are not right wing, why was the event they organized called "Unite the Right?"

I dunno...ask them. Prove that most everyone on the right supports these knuckleheads. If they said 'Unite the Left' would you also want to paint all leftists as Nazi supporters? Do you not understand the idiocy of painting segments of the population with the same broad brush? Or is it just a convenient way to spread the left's hatred of Trump?

Didn't realize that IF one goes out looking to get into a fight was a big issue. Thought that was common knowledge or common sense...

Didn't read whole dumb thread. No, it can certainly be argued that fascism/Nazism is not necessarily right wing. Only a historically illiterate moron would argue otherwise.

This post seems quite defensive. Relax.

I'm not broad brushing any one. You claimed they were not on the right. They are. They are self-described as right. You don't have to accept them as part of your tribe any more than many Democrats have to accept radical left wing groups as their tribe. However, they named their own theme, and that is undeniable.

I never said that most on the right support them, so I have no need to prove it.

I watch what they do and judge them on that in both cases.

the left believes you use the best of all systems, it's the right that thinks we should only use one system

You have no meaningful answer so you offer only hypothetical situations that don't exist and never have.

I asked to prove most everyone on the right supports the Nazi knucleheads. That is not a hypothetical situation that is asking for PROOF. The hypothetical situation I posed was to get understanding of how the broad brush painters think. Apparently the answer is that if the nazis said 'unite the left' you'd completely ignore it.

    Great.

Give us your assessment of how antifa is doing at this anti-racism rally.

What about my post do you consider defensive? Apparently asking questions is now verboten?

The nazis SAY they are on the right...so what? Apparently you believe everything they say...huh? BTW you wrote: "If the Neo-Nazis are not right wing, why was the event they organized called "Unite the Right?" You never said WH DOES NOT represent the entire right wing either. I don't think antifa represents the entire left. Maybe we can agree that these two organizations represent fringe hate groups?

They (antifa) look just like the Nazis.
