Yes, I did. Didn't you read the article about this school that is majority Asian? But all you find to respond with was about those rich white folks. All whitey's fault?

Do you know who is in charge of the FDA? Government controls food and drugs and we are fatter and sicker than ever.

I wouldn’t say I have a “powerful anti-Christian bias”, I have nothing against Christians or any other religious person — I think they should be treated equally and allowed to practice their religion as they see fit until those beliefs clash with another. I am however tired of the incessant crying that they are victims while they actively push to revoke the freedoms of others.

You will have to post some examples of church services in government buildings and the SCOTUS reference. As for the In God We Trust on our currency it was added about 60 years ago to be an antithesis to communism of the era so I doubt it has any bearing on the foundation of the US.

Maybe if they read more their parents wouldn't have to pay big bucks to get them into college.

That is exactly what I say to myself when I watch an NFL game. I mean like where are the Asian football players?

You make an excellent point. It is sad that Asians have to a large extent come to the US to flee communism and yet vote for left wing progressives. I don't understand this. Clearly Republicans need to have more outreach (for lack of a better word) to Asian-Americans.

Obviously, I mean... we know for a fact that race is absolutely 100% nothing but a social construct, and to think otherwise means that you must be a Hitler worshipper. Death to the patriarchal white supremacy, in the name of progress, amen.

Ineed, we should ignore any statistical data which doesn't align with our progressive faith, for this is blasphemous brother. Do ye not wish to reap the reward of 72 non-binary otherkins in heaven?

The problem is the Government pushed to end smoking. When people smoked they died at 64 before drawing social security. Now instead of smoking people consume sugar for a dopamine rush. As a result of the government's anti-smoking efforts we are close to bankrupting Social Security and have a nation of fat people.

We should not only ignore but outlaw racist statistics. We need a BARS act - Ban all Racist Statistics.

Mr. de Blasio certainly has the right approach to stop racism., i.e., scrap the entrance exam. Let's apply the same approach of eliminating racist standards to licensing Medical Doctors and so forth.

And speaking of Medical Doctors. There seems to be way too many Asian doctors. Just sayin.....

Last time I checked,... De Blasio wanted far more seats to children who are underprivileged in certain circumstances who just missed that high standard on entry, which means less room for children who pass that high standard. And than the Asian-Americans filed a lawsuit against this, because apparently their children are too privileged to qualify on entry.

Again.. on entry. Says nothing about the exams that they take in the school itself.
To claim the exams in the school itself are made easier, is privileged fake news.

Advances in medical treatments with respect to Diabetes, heart disease, and so forth can keep obese people alive for a long time, albeit with a degraded quality of life. One of the huge health care costs that no one wants to talk about is people being fat. People have a right to be fat but do they have a right to bankrupt our health care system just because they eat too much?

Well per the MSN link in the OP "Blubbering Blasio" (I call him that because liberals always seem to be blubbering) wanted to "scrap" entrance exams. Sure, you can spin that to mean "certain circumstances" but the reality is that unqualified children would be admitted. Now the second part of your comment is simply a false claim, "Asians are too privileged to qualify." You know perfectly well that Asian do not mind taking and passing admissions tests. Why are you racist against Asians?

My daughter went to Stuyvesant and LOVED it. She was one of around 25,000 8th graders who took the entrance test. There were 3 cut off points. Those who made the highest scores got into Stuyvesant. The next cut off scores got into Bronx Science and the third cut off scores made it into Brooklyn Tech. It was that simple. It was not based on quotas, just scores.

Are these tests all given on the same day and is it helpful to see past tests that may not have been released to the public? Does anyone know if there is systematic cheating like the SAT, GMAT and GRE? Recent immigrants to America are often great students but in zeal to do well, more than a few of them often cheat on these aptitude tests and other tests. For example, there have been websites out there in Chinese that help folks cheat/share questions without having to pay someone to take the test for you. Now, these NYC public school tests may be so specialized with so few test takers that the cheating is virtually non-existent but the level of cheating on SAT, GMAT and GRE is high enough that I have lost some faith in these tests.

So, overall I suspect Asian Americans are doing better since they are 1) more intelligent on average 2) work harder 3) emphasize test more but I do question based upon what I have seen and what a few of my Asian American friends have said in the past is if there is systematic cheating padding these numbers in some cases. The internet has enabled all of this.

All this being said, the elite colleges -- many of them -- are systematically discriminating against Asian Americans or at least putting more emphasis on financial contributions than anything else.

Pilots too. What's more important? Having the best and brightest flying our jumbo jets, or filling race and gender quotas?

Cleary what we need at the controls of megatons of high-speed metal zipping about over our heads is people chosen for diversity rather than competency.

Sarcasm aside, this sort of thing did happen under Obama.
