Except, it's not. This is a massive amount of evidence. He didn't ask for anything illegal, he just made it clear that was what he wanted though he knew he couldn't specifically say it.
Right, because even if he didn't use the words specifically, and even if he said the right words now and then with a wink, that doesn't mean he isn't accountable. We even have the 'transcript.' The good guys and the bad guys all knew he was illegally withholding aid for corrupt purposes. Whatever your standard for 'proof' is, there can be no other reading of the situation.
The professional foreign service workers testifying over the past two weeks have brought to light much much more than what you cite in your post, including emails that corroborate their testimonies. The evidence is powerful & convincing. It is really indisputable, except by those who never take the trouble to look at it. What Trump is doing to our government, trust in our country, and the practice of democracy here, will assuredly affect you as much as me or anyone else. I see no way for anyone who loves America & what it has stood for over the past century, to continue supporting this derelict excuse for President.
Graham actually said he would refuse to look at the evidence. The president is using the office for bribes [or solicitation of bribery] and Graham refuses to look? That should be grounds for instant removal from office.
Clearly you are more committed to Trump than you are to the U.S. as a free society. Fine. But be kind enough to help me understand what it is that you actually value, & how whatever that is, fits with Trump so snugly that you are impervious to the threats Trump & his policies bring to the U.S. I admit, I'm at a loss to understand it.
They are called "facts;" something Trump & his minions--including you evidently--are immune to. Sadly.
