Oregon Gov. Kate Brown orders extra cops to Portland amid protests

Right. "Peaceful" protests

 

What is happening in Portland is people testing the line and finding there is none and became emboldened.
Eventually deadly force from law enforcement and/or the national guard or maybe even the regular army will be necessary and Kate Brown will genuinely have blood on her hands out of her weakness. Who will be served in that scenario?

 

Great for non lethal solution. They can fire a plastic round and travels at about 325 feet per second. It hurts but it's less than lethal with the plastic rounds. The mayor and the city council has tied the cops hands so this is probably not an option for them anymore.

 

Funny how liberals finally realized that burning down their own cities is not a winning political strategy.

Kinda like the NBA figured out that boycotting themselves wasn't a good strategy, either, lol.

Not that it matters. I'd never watch another NBA game again, even with free tickets.

Turns out temper tantrums aren't effective politics.

 

That can work if Oregon still has any police commanders, prosecutors, grand juries and judges with the slightest inclination to actually arrest, charge, convict and punish felons.

 

Violent protestors are going to die at the hands of law enforcement or the military in Portland. This violence can’t continue and would not be put up with even here in tolerant Amsterdam.
Kate Brown allowed this to develop and the violent protestors feel that consequences are not even possible. They have been emboldened at their peril!
In a very real way, she is responsible for the situation. So is the mayor.
Recall is the only reasonable solution but the DNC will not allow that to happen so close to the election.

 

I expect these DP bund riots to burn out in November.
Election Is Coming.

 

A few more people may be killed in Portland, but it is too late to recall the Mayor.
He is an elected mayor. The locals may reelect him.
I can't think of any very good reason for anyone outside of Portland to intervene.
Election Is Coming.
Until then Portland should be a No Go Zone for ordinary people. Forever if they vote for more riots.

 

These rioters thrive on convenience. If it gets cold then their diva personalities will kick in and drive them to their mama’s basements to play Xbox.

 

Oregon is one of my favorite US states. The weather is very similar to here and the people are friendly.
But Portland should be quarantined because it’s turned into the Wild West.

 

A few Portland police could stop these riots in less than an hour if there was any political inclination to stop them. Riots like these are easy to stop with little or no violence.

 

I wouldn't go to Oregon if you held a gun to my head. Why give liberal states my hard earned money?

 

I hope that is correct.

 

There will always be some radical activity so long as there is significant dissatisfaction with the status quo among young adults, but street riots are very optional.

 

If you’re into hiking or anything nature oriented, it is a beautiful state. And the women tend to be disproportionately beautiful. Just avoid Portland!!

 

Still wouldn't go. Don't care. I cancelled cable because ESPN became racist. I'd rather visit the Bahamas than Portland with my hard earned money.

 

A few bicycle cops in Seattle were able to clear CHAZ/CHOP with little trouble as soon as they were allowed to do it.

Anything San Francisco and south is a no go area for me in California. You can smell the sulfur fumes from the hell mouth everywhere!!

 

Peaceful counter protesters will be met with deadly force or arrest. Self defense is illegal in our DP run urban hell holes. Avoid them until after the election.

 

Police under appointed commanders serve elected politicians.
Independent elected Sheriffs and deputies are far more likely to serve and protect the public.

 

The DP party bosses may have decided to scuttle their failed cities.
