Oregon Gov. Kate Brown orders extra cops to Portland amid protests

Which Portland doesn't. Portland's prosecutors are still the ones that are dropping charges. Even if they do prosecute there are three organizations that are bailing folks out and then they come back and riot the next day. There are a lot of things that have to line up for it to work. It would take someone of at least average intelligence to pull it off and they don't have anyone that fits that bill.

 

There is a recall in progress for Kate Brown but they can't get that done in time. The Democrats ignored it for too long and now it's built it's own momentum.

 

What are the "trump nuts" doing to make it worse?

 

LOL, nope, it's Portland.

 

The radical liberals and peaceful rioters are triggered by all things Trump. At this point the sight of a MAGA hat probably counts as justification for setting a building on fire.

 

It did in Portland. My neighborhood is full of Biden signs. I don't put up a Trump sign because I don't want any attention from potentially violent liberals.

 

I know that at least one sheriff has already told her to get stuffed and pointed out that as fast as Portland police have been arresting violent offenders, liberal activist judges have been releasing them so that they can return to the streets and immediately commit more acts of violence.

 

You are exactly right. It was two sheriffs and one chief of police that told her to get stuffed. I don't know what they State Police told her. They are under her but I bet they push back as hard as they can.

 

The spin. Riots and lootings are not part of BLM, after the destroyers tried to set fire to Mayor Wheeler's apartment building yesterday. Can the gas lighting of citizens get any more severe? Portlanders want so much for BLM to be a "good thing". If wishes and buts were fruits and nuts...

Yeah, funny....I was just thinking that when I was young, Texas was blue and California was red. We Texans (and I think much of the rest of the country) in the 60's-70's still called California "The land of fruits and nuts", even though the party loyalties were reversed.

Anyway, fruits nuts and butts aside (or included), the geography of the parties has switched in my lifetime. Never know what can happen to turn a blue state red or a red state blue. We are in a sea of change again.

 

Y'all Californians used to be strawberry red fruits and nuts, then you went blueberry fruits and nuts. Here's hoping you get a fresh crop of strawberries again soon. Throw in a couple handfuls of red pomegranates, cherries and delicious apples too, cause y'all just have to be weird like that. Just go red!

 

I think Minnesota will flip red.

 

The last time the U.S. went almost "all red" was the Mondale - Reagan election in 1984. Reagan won every state except Minnesota. Seeing Trump pulling a break even or win in that state is really something, isn't it?

It's really scary as to what it is going to take for these idiot liberal politicians to finally do something to take the kind of steps that will stop this. At this point the rioting has become normal in a way and that will take some drastic actions to break the chain of this ruthless violence. I am pretty sure these idiot politicians don't have the willfulness to take those kind of actions until the rioters actually kill a large number of people in a fire such as this apartment building. At that point it will be too late and they still will try to blame Trump.

Ive heard Trump almost flipped it red in 2016. Considering the crap the state has gone through this year, I think it will result in extra push.

 

They can't help themselves. It's always about some scam. The impeachment blew up in their faces. Cummings demanded that the DOJ OIG investigate the FBI for their handling of Clinton's private server in relation to the campaign and that blew up on them. That evolved into the Mueller investigation. Mueller did more damage to the Democrats, FBI and DOJ than it did to the Trump campaign. It took out the top three levels of the FBI. I am sooooooo glad Cummings did that. That is probably the best move that race baiting piece of **** ever made and it was exactly the opposite of what he thought it would be. The damage is still incoming to the FBI, DOJ and the Democrats.

 

Its not logic, its politics.

Everybody is well aware who is causing the violence.

Its not that they don't know, it's that they don't want to say.

Well, they have some encouragement from people like Maxine Waters and liberal mayors and governors.

 

True but the decision to be violent is still theirs.

 

And why not be violent? You don't get punished all that much for it there. It takes a left-wing system of mayors, judges, and prosecutors to actively allow the violence.

When you remove law and order from an area, chaos reigns, and lots of stupid people do stupid things.
