Pelosi says Biden shouldn't debate Trump: 'I wouldn't legitimize a conversation with him'

Even the Democrats must surely realize nobody would be dumb enough to think it is Trump's fault, no matter how much they spun it.

Doesn't matter. Trump is POTUS. The buck stops with him. That's what he said while Obama was POTUS. He can't suddenly say he doesn't take any responsibility at all. That's not what being a leader is all about.

Why did Obama and Biden just "talk" and do nothing for eight years?

2018 - Trump passed a First Step Act criminal reform bill, undoing the severity of Biden's "throw 'em in jail" crime bill from the 1990's.

Maybe if Obama or Biden had done some actual work on criminal and prison reforms instead of "talking" there wouldn't have been any George Floyd protests.

2020 - Republican Senator Tim Scott wrote a police reform bill as a starting point, asking for Democrats to debate and offer amendments. Pelosi refused to discuss it.

Democrats: All talk. No action. Turn a blind eye to riots and looting. Call them "peaceful protests".

I don't care if he does or doesn't. I don't watch the debates. Being a good debater isn't on my list as to what makes a good president. It's totally irrelevant.

Giving a damn and speaking about it without threatening civilians would be a start.

 

Doesn't negate the fact that all of this is happening on his watch while he plays golf and threatens civilians with the Military.

 

There is nothing to negate, the local dems are going apeshi* and buring things down and in some cases killing people. If you can't you remember, Trump tried to give aid in the form of federal authority to end the instruction. What happened? They went even crazery.

Speak to the entire Country and at least pretend to care about everyone. Not just his rabid base. Speaking to his base only makes it worse because he says incredibly stupid **** because his base eats it up. The entire Country doesn't want to listen to a hateful asshat talk only to his base, they need a leader to speak to the entire Nation.

 

How about if some leader speaks to the entire nation about not resisting arrest, or about not setting things on fire, or about not taking things that don't belong to you.

But I agree, not breaking the law is the right thing to do.

 

Thinking they will listen to Trump or any republican when they are not listening to their own leaders is far from reasonable. I don't want Trump sending in troops or getting involved in any way. Your side wants a big powerful government, so you deserve troops, water canons, and tear gas.

I do agree that Biden debating Trump would be a bad idea. If they did, I would love to pick a few questions:

What were we just talking about?
What is today's date?

 

I didn't say Joe. I said "some leader". Trump has been talking to the nation about those things. Trump has been talking to the nation about how the U.S. government has not been working in the best interest of the people, how they have served themselves and have become corrupt.

Democrats and their media have been telling you not to listen to him about how corrupt they are. They say he's lying to you and that the life-long political elites are interested in your welfare, this time. They'll help you. This time. I mean, look how much they've done in 30 years to our benefit, right?

Half the country believes that Trump is telling the truth about a corrupt government. Half the country believes that that the corrupt government politicians are telling the truth. That isn't the same as Trump "not" talking to the entire nation. That is half the nation not listening.

 

The good news is, if Uncle Joe debates he will be crushed. If he doesn't, he will be shown as the fraud he really is!

Why give Trump a chance to lie and pretend it is the truth. Biden has to then correct that truth because the MSM and or FOX wont do it out of fear. Fear that Trump will have them locked up or murdered
