yesterday Don Lemon said Northram should resign, many thought Don Lemon should resign when he plastered the N-word all over network TV - people make mistakes, would Don be as forgiving if a white man did what he did - I like Don, but this makes a point, one I hope people on each sides get - sometimes people do stupid things without thinking

on tv this was not blurred out, everyone saw it, even white children that might get called racist for repeating the word aloud - no one should use this word, is Don Lemon trying to keep the word alive?

Obama also used this word, something a President said that no White person can repeat out loud due to their race? what if Trump used that word, he could just say... Obama said it too

 

Because the photo is a red herring put out by dems who are desperately trying to control the damage being done to their party. Furthermore, the confederate flag did not have the stigma it has today when the picture was taken; blackface and the KKK on the other hand were overwhelmingly seen as vile and racist when Governor 'Coonman' had his picture taken.

black face was seen a little different in the 80's too, race relations were doing good back them, people were less offended by many things, people poked fun at some of this stuff that 30 years later in a time of racial tension again is not going over so well

We as a society have moved from extremes, from one extreme, to another extreme. And IMO, any extreme is indistinguishable from insanity, craziness, madness, etc.

We were a nation at one time filled with racists, and not only the south, as I saw plenty of it in the north in the late 60s and early 70s. But it was closet racism, not overt as it was in the South, where I grew up under racism and segregation. So this was one extreme, the extreme of segregation and racism. And instead of moving into an end to segregation, equal protection under the law, and the different races getting along, treating one another with some respect and humanity, we moved into extremism. Where if one is black, one can exhibit racist speech, and actions, and that is just fine, if the victim is white, and where a picture of "blackface" generates cries of a person losing their position or job, if they are white. An extremism where if one is black, calling another person a ****** is acceptable, but only if one is black, can that term be used. If white, forget about it! This is the insanity of extremism, of the loss of reason and rationality. If the N word is bad and unacceptable, it should be unacceptable for all americans and not acceptable for just a few of us. Otherwise, you get incoherence, and insanity.

Can you imagine if we had a word that only white people could use safely when referring to another white person, but if you were a minority, using that same word could get you fired? This illustrates the insanity involved, the double standards, and they utter hypocrisy of it.

So, we live in times of incoherence and insanity, and people are fine with it. ha ha Heaven help us if we ever made a move back into logic, reason, rationality. haha

Northam didn’t do himself any favors when he did that interview with a radio station coldly describing how a late term abortion would take place imo. I have no doubt digging up his picture was a political hit job but I also believe most of these are Franken, Kanvaughn, the e tape etc that just seems to be the name of the game. This McConnell photo wasn’t timed right if they wanted it to successfully smear him because it blatantly looks like retaliation imo

I think the key to these hit pieces are in the timing, time them to make it look like the only motive is to right a wrong. The timing of this McConnell photo gives doubt that it’s only to right a wrong. They would’ve been better served to hold the photo longer if their objectives were to disgrace McConnell imo

the McConnell photo has been out there for awhile, both photo's by next month will hardly be a memory in the public's eye as neither person seems to really be a racist - now if either did anything in the present that seemed racist, you bet that will come right back at them as proof they are racist
