That's what I said. It wasn't a crime. It was a stupid thing to do/ask. It shows a fundamental incompetence along with a fundamental disrespect for this country's dearest values. But you're correct, and as I said, no crime was committed by either Trump or Pence in this very specific scenario.

It was a violation of his oath of office. That is a "high crime" and justified his removal from office. IF he also took part in a planned attack on the Capitol Building, it would also be sedition...a prosecutable crime.

Here is the claim by the media as to what Trump said. There is NO evidence he said it to Pence.
“All Vice President Pence has to do is send it back to the states to recertify and we become president and you are the happiest people,” Trump said.

Then you read the NPR spin machine trying to make it seem Trump and Pence were in direct contact. They were not.

I believe Pence was not agreeing but was not contacting Trump.

Yet Democrats could never prove that case and they tried.

You just explained why Biden the fuddy duddy is not jailing Trump.

I do not believe Trump asked Pence to violate laws.

I believe the media favoring the left did a hatchet job.

Trump said a thing about Pence. That he could send back for reconsideration. But that is different than say Trump giving Pence an order.

Republicans ignored the impeachment...thus violating their own oaths of office. The AG and the DoJ will prosecute Trump...via a Grand Jury.

Trump did not ask Pence. Trump was talking to a huge crowd at the White House. Pence was entering the House of Representatives.

Biden is not jailing Trump. Garland has not announced he is prosecuting Trump. This is mid July. IF Garland had proof, he would already be in a Federal Court.

Republicans were correct to ignore it.

Show me the oath to impeach Biden? It is just how you treated Trump.

That is by design. People with healthy weights who feel good don't make AMA customers.

How many times must people be reminded a law does not have to be broken to warrant impeachment of the POTUS?

The DoJ investigation is continuing. This is a no-brainer...he openly broke his oath of office to a crowd of thousands and a TV audience of millions. Garland is being overly cautious because he must prove a criminal offense in a court of law beyond a reasonable doubt. Ouster from office is a purely political issue, left to Congress. By ignoring the President's violation of his oath, Republicans in Congress who voted against impeachment and conviction have violated their own oaths and should be removed from their offices.

The majority of Republicans in Congress have effectively gone to war against the Constitution.

Garland must be stupid as Biden given your claims made here.

Link to your claim the DOJ is investigating.
    2. Link to Claim Garland is overcautious.

How the hell can a talk to a crowd be a violation?

Either the Biden corruption is deeper than I ever claimed or they are stupid. I have not ever heard your claims made by the press.

Robert, you know very little about the U.S. government, the Constitution and the way both work. No one is discussing "impeaching Biden." Trump was impeached twice. His speech on January 6th asked Pence to break the law and his oath of office, thus breaking his own. It is in his speech.

The other 10% are likely almost always the right person as well, they're just not always violent repeat felons struggling with the officer.

The FBI just arrested a half dozen more in Florida yesterday for the January 6th riot. They announced today that they are looking for more. The investigation continues. On Garland being overly cautious, that is my own opinion.

Actually due to my college study of law, I believe I am correct. The Senate agreed with me.

Garland has no reason to be overcautious. He is in charge. Why aren't you overcautious in your claims?

Trump who was president did not participate in the so called Riot. The media hyped this.

And I have my own opinion only mine is based on the actual law. I believe were you to check, the law wants to prosecute civilians who were not in Government. Do you subscribe to the National Enquirer?

Let us all know when they arrest Trump.

    The investigation continues.

Why? Doesn't Garland know what you know?

Break WHAT rule? There's a hell of a lot of rules that aren't laws. The left was planning to impeach Trump before he was elected. That's the kind of sorry conduct we've seen over and over; the end matters, the reasons and means do not. Trump asked pence to decertify the electoral results, something Pence did not have the power to do- thus there was no law to break in the first place. It would be like asking your neighbor the butcher to dismiss your parking ticket....

But compared to the laws broken in the riots, the attacks on statues and police..... it would seem rather insignificant anyway.

Old stuff. Fight to fix what we are dealing with now, not to keep the pot boiling on things we can't change.

There is some chance Trump will run in 2024. If so, you can take another shot.
