Planned Parenthood is No Friend to Women

"The New Mommy" pamphlets sometimes have the "this is what your baby looks like during this month in the womb" features. Of course, those features cite scientific sources and not some dr. Suess depictions and write-ups.

 

In my younger years, I will admit I was significantly less "Altruistic" in my sexual activity and was generally guided by things other than my neural function. As I was also singing heavy metal most weekends, opportunity was abundant. It's strange is it not, that I somehow became a different person as more time on this earth allowed me to develop new perspective and personality. It was indeed "Childish" and "Ignorant" to treat women as little more than a ride. I was however an ignorant child at the time and enjoyed completely.

I would seem I have offended you in my sarcastic attempt to mnake a point, for that I apologize. Perhaps I can make the point in another way:

Do you wish to deny individuals the opportunity to avoid destroying their youth and enjoying the trip into adulthood, because they are because they are enjoying their youth on the trip to adulthood?

 

The reason you were able to treat 'women as little more than a ride" is because they LET you. The blame is not all yours.

Not at all....I just think that a single man having procreational type sex without giving and receiving a commitment is a stupid sucker. More often than not, a pregnancy with or without a subsequent abortion destroys the 'trip' and thrusts one abruptly into adulthood. The pervasive thinking and teaching that a fetus is not really human life only exacerbates the destruction of many 'trips' into adulthood.

 

I think you use this "control women" cry every time something doesn't go your way. It gets REAL annoying, really fast. If they really did want to control women, there would still for example be challenges on Roe V Wade. But even that's not a part of the Republican Platform anymore. There's not a single Republican who believes that Roe V Wade should be challenged.

The American People as a general public, accept abortion as a reality. What we are debating, is to what extent should abortion be a part of our public policy. Where do we draw(or rather re-draw) the lines as they are now sketchy as hell. Seen in Planned Parenthood 'legally' obscuring the law for profits.

For me, I've already stated I support Medical Abortion. IE: Your precious "in cases of rape, incest, threat to mother": that you always use as some kind of rallying cry. Despite the fact that these make up less than 4% of cases. Less than 4%! You'd think you'd use better propaganda.

It's probably very similar to how people thought there were many more gays then there were. Perception sometimes overtakes reality. When reality and perception overlap, your probably not happy that if as a country we enable primarily medical abortions and support family planning that abortions as a whole would go way down to almost non existent.

But while you're not happy, most of us are happy. Margret Sanger was a real disgusting piece of work, and I don't want to live in her America any longer. It's a country without pride, without unity and without economic stability. This country is bound to collapse due to the very basic lacking of the prerequisites of a country: A strong family unit.

 

So...you begin with a statement denying that you wish to "punish" these youths and destroy or diminish their lives, and then state you think they are "Stupid Suckers" and apparently think they deserve the punishment for being so stupid. Should you succeed in your goal of preventing legal abortion you will accomplish one of two things.

1) You will be trading the safety of million of young women for the safety of millions of fetuses.
2) You will be setting the stage for a perpetual limitation on freedoms, as the fetus you save will grow up and eventually be placed in the same situation as will theirs.

It takes an enormous and cruel Ego to consider yourself and your opinions so far above those of others that you are willing to run their lives based upon it. Cocky is one thing...that is pure EVIL.

The problem with the premise of this thread is that PP is bad so lets kill it off and that will be far better for women, my, my, my it looks as if some are using a new form of faux logic. How about this, remove funding for abortions but continue to fund PP, and there ya go problem solved and PP stays in business providing healthcare needs for women, or is that not the goal here?

 

I doubt that's the real goal. The real goal is to make life harder for all those "floozies" who are so lazy and stupid they get pregnant and need to be punished for having sex.
