Well I do not think that has anything to do w/ this case but for the record I do not think that it is "funny" when anyone whether they are LEO or not gets "taken out".
WOW, the most ridiculous post of the week, congratulations. Lets compare this to how many young black men can trust their neighbor not to shoot them and compare stats. - - - Updated - - - Trolls will be trolls.
I do not think this thread is a lie. For what it is worth. I just find it strange or "funny" that LE professional could "accidentally" discharge his firearm while in bed two times. We are not talking about a foolish rookie making a mistake. This is the freaking Chief of Police.
One thing you got to get straight is that we are all human...anyone can make a mistake. Even your dear leader in the WH can...so think about before you go defending anything you believe is right.
Of course it is true that we all are capable of making mistakes. I was not trying to defend any thing. Nor am I trying to draw any conclusions about this case. Just giving my take on the word "funny" in the context of this thread.
Well if you lefties want funny start watching more cartoons. We see enough of those everytime Ubama gives a speech.
Well so do a lot of people. But that doesn't stop them from defending Ubama. And Ubama really believes that's funny.
Here's the transcript of the 911 call. Transcript: Peachtree City police chief’s call to 911 http://www.ajc.com/news/news/local/transcript-peachtree-city-police-chiefs-call-to-91/njfTH/ Notice that the cop didn't say anything about cartoons or about blaming Obama. But he did set the stage for his accidental shooting claim.
Was the transcript hilarious? **At 2:35…(you hear moaning/crying in background) 911: OK. (more moaning) This just occurred now right before you called. Funny is it?
Obviously the wife was doing something completely thuggish, like disagreeing with a Police Chief, the heroic husband tried to justifiably arrest her, she resisted and the officer feared for his life. The Grand Jury will find there was no wrongdoing and the Police Chief will be given a million dollars by supportive conservatives. Gloria Steinem et al will probably incite riots
That's a sick attitude. That's actually possible, and it's precisely the reason that I don't leave mine somewhere I could reach it while sleeping. Have you never been dreaming and awoke to find you were actually physically acting out your dream? I certainly have.
While that has never happened to me, IMHO leaving a loaded weapon unsecured in a drawer is not smart. Same for behind the sofa, in the magazine rack and so on and so forth.
The wife is on the mend, she's getting better. Peachtree City police chiefs wife in fair condition after shooting 2:31 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015 | http://www.ajc.com/news/news/peachtree-city-police-chiefs-wife-in-fair-conditio/njf9x/ "Her condition was upgraded to serious on Saturday before being further upgraded Sunday, Channel 2 Action News reported." Will the cops be able to cover for the chief?
If he was sleeping with a loaded gun, then yes this is funny as (*)(*)(*)(*). Because I do find stupid funny. And yes sleeping with a loaded gun with other people in the bed is negligent not accidental, if she dies then its negligent homicide
The wife is recovering and she's blabbing about how it was all an accident although she was sound asleep when the chief shot her in the back. She's either a dummy or someone if forcing her to cover it up. UPDATE: Peachtree City police chief’s wife: Shooting was accidental 5:59 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5, 2015 http://www.ajc.com/news/news/gbi-hopes-to-interview-peachtree-city-police-chief/njgSk/ "The wife of Peachtree City’s police chief told GBI agents that she believes her husband accidentally shot her. According to GBI spokeswoman Sherry Lang, GBI conducted an interview with Margaret McCollom on Monday afternoon in her hospital room at Atlanta Medical Center, where she is now listed in good condition after being shot in the early morning of New Year’s Day. Lang said in a statement McCollom told agents she was asleep when her husband, Chief William McColom, shot her so she could not give them any details." Woman shot by police chief husband now in good condition
The police chief paralyzed his wife from her waist down. I'll bet he's really ticked off he's such a lousy shot. I see another divorce in their future. Report: Peachtree City police chief’s wife is paralyzed http://www.ajc.com/news/news/report-peachtree-city-police-chiefs-wife-is-paraly/njpSG/ "The wife of Peachtree City police Chief William McCollom is paralyzed from the waist down after being shot by her husband early New Year’s Day at the couple’s Fayette County home, according to Channel 2 Action News."
Yea... Of these armed individuals, who is more likely to be shooting at you? ...or... ...or... ...or... You can act like police officers have the profession of murder but when there's a killing reported on the evening news we all know who dun' it.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) turned the case over to the DA last Friday. It'll be a miracle if the DA moves forward on the case. http://www.11alive.com/story/news/l...ce-chief-shooting-turned-over-to-da/23755981/
