Population density increases vulnerability to infection

    That's going to be a costly 'mistake'. Could ruin the country, in fact .. if the current rate of infection is any indicator.

    Still can't grasp the refusal to cooperate. If they don't like sitting at home, why prolong it by refusing to do it now - for a short period? It defies all logic.

    No doubt. Seems there's a correlation between the demographics who vote Left and this disease, even in my country. It's most prolific here in the higher income areas - and wealth equates to voting Left. Not much infection in the poorer areas.

    As to the density thing .. that's now being thoroughly researched. Initial finding is that density is only a problem when it's ignored. Seoul for example, is denser than NYC but has managed this disease far better. Researchers already know that the disaster in NY is a result of a) failure of leadership to lock it all down early, and b) a high percentage of residents with obesity and diabetes, and c) a high percentage of residents who don't pay close attention to health and community guidelines. Diversity is not strength.
