    I wouldn't be too sure. The ability to keep track of everyone in the world didn't exist before computers, nor the potential for a one world leader.

    It is a nice statue. The Mexicans are quite artistic.

    Caution by the way is not paranoia, but fools and optimism do go hand in hand. We slept walked into WWI, and suffered a century of wars afterwards.

    The author was hardly aware of the vastness of the world, and besides, who cares what he claimed? It's not like he was some kind of authority. You only care about it because it was included in the Biblia by a Roman committee.

    Which is kind of funny since it is full of condemnations of Rome.

    Didn't Hermione use Time Travel to save this creature from being executed by the Minister of Magic for having hurt Draco Malfloy?

    (I loved the way Hermione nearly cold-cocked Draco when it became evident he was going to have the creature killed. Get a ROOM you two.)

    Hermione would love to have Buckbeack's statue on that pedestal.

    Personally, I favor a more friendly - though tough if the need arises - kind of a peace guardian. I don't think a jaguar-eagle mongrel qualifies for the job.
