You are entitled to your opinion of how important the education of our children is. I would strongly disagree with your priorities. - - - Updated - - - It is completely peaceful
What you see in this picture is a picture of the right wing in action. - - - Updated - - - What you see in this picture is a picture of the right wing in action.
Okay, let's say that a group of prolife people physically blocked a woman's entrance into PP. Is that considered peaceful?
Paha! Dream on... We'll only see ill informed, uneducated turd burglars on the east and west coasts trying to stop her. Everywhere else, besides Chicago, will welcome her.
Democrats who are members of the right wing. Do you really deny this? You believe they were leftists? Really?
I don't recall Ghandi smashing Windows, Lighting cars on Fire or touching anyone, and I don't think he would have Blocked Devos from a School. In fact I think he would have been against such tactics.
Yes it is. And they should be arrested but also respected for their courage to engage in peaceful protest.
Please point out where I ever suggested that smashing windows counts as peaceful disobedience. A lot of windows got smashed during the civil rights movement....but that does not dismiss the movement. - - - Updated - - - Yes they wer mostly. They were also right wing. Thanks for not denying it.
Ever heard of assault? I believe you talked a lot about it back when Trump was being blamed for assaulting eleventy million girls. The same ones that slithered back under their rocks when he won.
You can only block someone by touching them. That in itself is not a peaceful move. Keep an eye on things. This lawfulness will end soon.
No you do not have to touch anyone. They must touch you if they wish to force the issue. The distinction is an important one. And let us pray this lawfulness never ends....because that is the death of a democracy.
http://urbancharters.stanford.edu/ Urban charter schools in the aggregate provide significantly higher levels of annual growth in both math and reading compared to their TPS peers
The question I'd like to ask them is if they even know what they're standing up for. Looks like they don't want a better education.
Go argue with Stanford who said: Urban charter schools in the aggregate provide significantly higher levels of annual growth in both math and reading compared to their TPS peers http://urbancharters.stanford.edu/
You are entitiled to your opinion of what constitutes a "better education." They are entitled to disagree.
You can't equate Finland's system with ours. 1. Finland's population is less than 6 million. The population of the US is 318 million. 2. Finland has approximately 600,000 students and 75,000 teachers. NYC has 1.1 million students and 75,000 teachers. 3. Finland's population is very homogenous. 99% of the people are Finns(93.4 %) or Swedes (5.6%). As you are well aware, we are very diverse with different kinds of people with different languages which have to be addressed in the schools. 4. What they do works well for them. I don't think it would work here.
Cmon now Vegas, don't try that after comparing the current crop of....protestors...to Ghandi, MLK etc. You made the comparison, not I.
I did make the comparasion. And those three individuals were called every name in the book and were HATED by the right at the time. No one denies this. History judges them as heroes now but in their day they were HATED by many. Your hate of the current "crop" fits nicely into that narrative.
Lol, why does everything always come back to Civil Rights? From gay marriage to blocking government officials, people always come back around to comparing it to Civil Rights.
Uh....what should it be compared to? People standing up for their rights should be compared to people who came before who did the same thing. DUH.
