    Correct. He banned Communism and there was a backlash since the majority were still Communists from the Bloc. They used to have a little, now they have not a lot.

    I think they find ambassador murray, who is undergoing media blackout more credible than a CIA getting into domestic politics. Of course the CIA has a vested interest in keep Russia a huge enemy and that trump would even think he might be able to get better relations with Russia, to ramp down the tensions, is not something a faction in the CIA wants. No more than the DEA wants to decriminalize a drug which gets them good funding.

    Funny how the left would cite the CIA giving us fake intel so we could invade Iraq, but now they believe they are always right and have sainthood. Well, not so much funny as being their hypocrisy. No one would ever accuse this crowd of even knowing what intellectual honesty and integrity looks like. They have never known it. So, they are not credible voices worthy of listening to in any serious way. Moot. We should leave the serious discussion to the mature adults in the room, IMO.
