I'd disagree with this too. I don't think it has been particularly competent at its current job, or its previous one.

No amount of body mutilation or drugs or make up can change a man in to a woman.

Else tell me what's a woman?

    I've read the entire thread.

    It's exactly what you said.

Claiming that calling a snake a worm because kt doesn't have legs, which I assume is related to transgender surgery.

None of that changes my point.

But a man saying he is a woman is not who he really is so he is NOW hiding who he really is if he does so. Putting on stereotypical make-up and clothes hiding it even more.

Here's a crazy idea. Call it "person of the year".

Isn't the claim by the left that women are oppressed in a patriarchal society? That they are paid less than men? That they don't have the same opportunity for leadership?

Yet, here are the same people ACTUALLY taking away an honor dedicated to women, and giving it to a biological male... and they defend it.

Doesn't it really suck when progressive agendas are hypocritical at its core?

Only because it squashes your attempt to validate your positions using the same mechanism as my example.

    And?

I would argue that mental health issues exist in all mamals.

are you not stating your own beliefs? i'm sorry, my default assumption isn't that people on here are simply stringing together random words for the sake of it
this was never about sexual orientation?
you literally asked a question and i answered it. but if you want to interpret my simple disagreement as "scolding" be my guest i suppose

if you think that comment was related to transgender surgery then you clearly didn't read through the conversation in enough detail LMAO

i'm broadly in agreement for things where there are actually a limited number of positions for women, but in this case it looks like there were actually numerous "women of the year" so levine wasn't actually taking anyone's place, just an unnecessary addition.

I know that, you know that, but apparently some people feel it's dependent on the ability to pop out a baby.

XX. That's all that needs to be said.

Well that is something that males of the species cannot do and women in good health do go through that period in life where they are capable of doing so which no male will ever go through. At some point a man's testosterone levels start to fall and his sperm count starts to fall, does it mean he is turning into a woman?

Not all XX women are capable of producing a child, for various reasons.

No, just because someone's hormones change naturally or by injection, does not change chromosomes.

Again a woman in good health will go through her period of fertility just like a man, the difference being the man will not be the one who bears the child so yes child bearing is a quality of the female not the male of the species.

To be fair, the second one is so horrifying that the first one is bordering on cuter.

The poster I responded to, list ONLY the ability to bear a child as the definition of a woman. Nothing else. Not all women can physically bear a child, so that should not be THE defining factor.

The chromosome are a defining factor.

Well! the first one has Hairy legs and is probably more Well Endowed than I am and I can't think of anything worse than having a Girlfriend that's more Well Endowed than I am, so I'd have to pass even if you think that one is cuter.

Ok, now you're just deflecting from my point because you don't have a logical response.

Unfortunatley, quite a few people here are unable to tell the difference between their opinions and facts.

Yes, he should have used better context as to how that defines the female of the species. I can think of no circumstance or event in the history of all mankind where a male of the human species gave birth to a child. Every single one was by a female.

USA Today added an additional nominee so they could add a man to the list? I thought there was a certain number and he is one of them this year meaning he took the place of a woman. Am I mistaken?
