I appreciate that you're backtracking from your ugly exaggeration.

A lot of whites commit violent crimes and many whites blame their problems on black people.

So what exactly are you claiming?

 

Black people commit violent crimes at a much higher rate than whites. I rarely see white people blame their problems on black people, unless they're taking about violent crime, in which case the blame is usually deserved.

The person that offered this article followed the rules of this forum and faithfully gave the true title to the article instead of reframing it to try to produce a flamebait response. IOW: The true instigator of this whole thread was the author, Chad Garrison, who may or may not have additional evidence of any previous racism connected with the perpetrator.

In any event, the author of both this article and the authour of this thread were merely relaying to us the current unrest and volatility in today's toxic racial and political climate. A very timely and important political subject.

Since most violent crimes against white people are committed by white people your claim smacks of ignorance and racism. Only about 20% of crimes are interracial.

1) Blacks have universally been given the short end of the stick by whites. In the 1700's they were considered subhuman, and women were not far behind. Blacks have had to be that much better than whites to even be given a job, same with women. Blacks have been herded to the back-of-the-bus, figuratively speaking since the whites decimated the Indians. White men seem to be especially needy to have all others subordinate to them, and it is not at all unusual to have blacks retaliate in crime, as peaceful means don't as yet work.

2) Duh...how could whites blame their problems on blacks whom they have held in subjugation since the 1700's? The whole complex problem of complete assimilation into American society has been hindered by the original sin of slavery. The issue of going to war to free the slaves, but ignoring the consequences of same to the cotton trade of the South, the fear and distrust put into whites' minds about blacks when they were being hanged for just looking at a white woman shows the fear that the whites had for the blacks.

Racism is like a fatal genetic disease among some white men, but it constitutes, fundamentally, a fear of black men. We see today the excessive bravery in battle, the deep religiosity, the excellent work ethics, and basic true honesty of the blacks, and their climb up into today's society..and white men are even more fearful...

Ok, stop. You're just trying to be funny now. The black unemployment rate is nearly twice the national average, so I think you're exaggerating their work ethic. Their "climb up" in today's society is rarely earned. It's all about diversity quotas and affirmative action.

I would pay a lot of money for you to tell this story (i.e. especially the part about excessive bravery in battle) to my dead grandfather. He was on the Uboats during WWII as a US Irishman (i.e. the Irish were viewed as equivalent to the blacks in the in 1940's) and he complained about all of the blacks running and hiding during battle. I've evolved from his nomenclature in that I don't refer to blacks slanderously by name, but that is all that I will concede given the state of the neighborhoods in Camden, NJ and Philadelphia, PA that I used to live in. If you can make Camden, NJ look like Beverly Hills, CA in the next week, maybe I'll change. Until then, with no dead and no injured, if the white guy had paid taxes in the last 5 years, he should be given a pass. You know the tax dollars were all spent to keep the zoo animals from rioting.

This is just what statistics I have collected since April 22, since the first 148 pages of over 5,000 crimes was deleted then. This is just the latest. Also these crimes are not just chases I didn't even include most of the rapes because it would be so many.

b) Black unemployment is higher because they have not had the financial ability to go further in school to grab a good education, are at the bottom of the totem pole as a direct result, and are laid off first. Blacks work harder than whites to retain their jobs. Many work two jobs, including black women. Blacks work much harder than whites in jobs where I have worked.

I have seen whites fall asleep watching games on their puters, black women falling asleep after returning to work from childbirth, temporarily lacking the strength to keep up with both. fact: I report the whites... and distribute to others the work the black woman was originally delegated, and say nothing to my manager because the woman's work was consistently very productive.

Having the great majority of Americans vote for a president, whose father was black and his mother was white, in a gratifying landslide vote does tell us that America is finally reinventing itself from a purely colonial stance toward a person's skin color. It speaks of a pride in our ability to transform our diversity into the great historical rise of America as it was meant to be.
