Imagine that, placing importance on the rule of law.
Yours is a statement of ignorance and/or dishonesty.
Are you unaware of the fact the constitution provides the means to achieve this?

Highways existed before 1913? ROFLOL police were the "militias" of the state and corporations. Fire fighters were private, hospitals were private, and schools were private.

The constitution contains the necessary procedure.
    Were you unaware of this?

Thank you for placing your ignorance and/or dishonesty on display, for all to see.

2/3rds of both houses and 3/4ths of all states is a completely ridiculous standard. It takes catastrophies to change the constitution. Hopefully 45 will provide one.

The inter state highways were created in the 60s. Show me proof of local police firefighters and hospitals that were all public from those times.

Your opinion on the matter is meaningless - you have the procedure. Get busy.
Fact is, you're just to lazy to play by the rules, and so you think if you complain about said rules, you'll somehow get to ignore them.

Look at you, ignoring the second part of what I said:
... and most of them are currently paid for almost entirely at the state level.

It has to be the propaganda campaign done by the Democrats that has the public so ignorant of things done by cities, then counties, then states and last the Feds.

They believe the Feds are in charge of schools for instance.

Yes, this nation is just that ignorant. Little do they understand the story of roads.

The way roads started out private. As time passed, it was more convenient to the users for some government to accept the duty to maintain them. I personally worked on highways and know more about them as a result.

Community roads today are the duty of the new home contractor. The contractor constructs the roads and by deed hands them to the community, such as the city. After the new roads are transferred to the city, then the city handles repaving. Taxes locally on property pays that.

Roads from one city to the next. Those come in many forms. But bet the bank that at one point they were on open lands until an agency took authority. Roads were primitive compared to now. But the huge project handled by the Feds, using local contractors, was the intrastate highway projects started during the Eisenhower presidency.

Anyway, I am not talking of the amendments. Guess it is time to quit.

Yet, under those ridiculous standards, the Constitution has been amended 18 times since the BOR were passed (which also went through the 2/3 House/3/4 states standard).

Because they have no concept of the fact the US are 50 individual states, who agreed to cede certain powers to the federal government.

Law with no consequences is merely advice.

Yep. All gun laws should have consequences

I agree on that. I do not want the bulk of great gun owners to be punished over the acts of fringe people. I read today of a Mom in TN that took the lives of her 4 children and then her own life using a gun. Cops believe it is a simple murder suicide. We must mourn the deaths but it does not hint we must change laws to punish others who shot nobody and whose children are just fine.

Consequences to the guilty. The innocent have no need for consequences.

Forgetting for the moment that it covers more than just self-incrimination, I have no idea what it has to do with Hillary, as I don't remember her ever taking the 5th.

Most of our laws have minor inconveniences for the innocent
