Sadly, this is the truth. The question is, what, if anything, can be done to wake up low information voters. Maybe they just have Jimmy Carter experience (again for the old liberals) with the double digit mortgage loans, embassy take overs, 55 mph speed limit and so forth. Of course a Warren or a Bernie would be ten time worse than Carter.

Not True - there are plenty of people - including the KOCH brothers and numerous other Republicans - that realize that our current system is far more expensive than what other first world nations pay - all of which have universal healthcare.

We spent 3.5 Trillion on healthcare in 2017. This is roughly double/per person what other first world nations pay. If done properly (which of course the Dems will not do) there is 1.75 Trillion dollars on the table - and we should be able to do better given economies of scale.
