There were many races that had only republican candidates.

Most economists, even some of the the most bearish, are saying it will taper off in 2023 — globally.

So your disgusting wish that Americans suffer so your team can win hopefully doesn’t occur. And even if it does the Republican platform is so toxic it may not matter.

Religious people banning together to openly deny civil contracts to groups they don’t like. Or forcing women (and small girls) to be incubators to the state.

Of course your sources depend on the global situation. We don't depend on things globally.....we are America First! We believe America is quite sufficient to lead and others can follow. We are not dependent (until Biden) on any of them. So you can wait around for your global vision. There is a reason millions want to come here!

That is one sick statement! Are you wanting to put Christians in concentration camps yet?....or perhaps eliminate them like your desires for the unborn?

I don't think a Venn Diagram demonstrates the point. I think the map of the United States represents the point. I think the Red/Blue map of the United States fully demonstrates the point that there is not equal representation in the government red to blue. I live in a Congressional District with 11 localities. Out of those, 9 voted for the Republican and 2 voted for the Democrat and the Democrat won. Of those 2, one of them is a tiny city locality while the other is a very heavily populated liberal locality. They will decide all races for this Congressional District for the foreseeable future. It does not represent the entirety of the CD.

I bet with the environmentalist Karens they do :) Start with deforestation, drilling, fracking or open pit mining and they absolutely influence "THE VOTE"..

Think outside the box, things are not as simple as they seem ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I actually don't think any of the things you listed have had a meaningful impact on many elections, but the context we were discussing is the amount of red and blue on a map.

It's irrelevant if 95% of the landmass is covered in red or blue. Landmass doesn't vote.

    Whose expectations?

Some of us simply hoped for the house or Senate to the GOP in order to get grid lock. Despite the media efforts, it looks like that is what we got and that's a good thing

Again, 9 out of 11 localities are misrepresented by a plural majority of one locality. That is not true representation of the population. And that is why the maps are red and not blue. That happens across the United States. If the founding fathers had only applied the same mentality of the Electoral College to all federal level elections we would be way better off. The plurality of one locality, because it is densely populated, would not eliminate the votes of nine localities.

LoL.... if people can't feed their families, it will matter.... (except in Pennsylvania, Arizona or Las Vegas; where Democrats have permanently fortified elections with archaic rules that allow unlimited cheating).

Regarding most economists predictions.... they are utterly full of ****. Jeff Bezos says prepare for the worst in 2023 and he is correct. Next year will be catastrophic. My entire industry is teetering over the abyss due to the chip shortage which shows absolutely no signs of slackening. It is drastically affecting our ability to ship product. If the chip shortage lasts another two years, it will end our company. It is shocking that it has lasted more than a year already.

Some would report that Hillary Clinton had more votes than Barack Obama in 2008 for the Democrat nomination, but did she receive the nomination?

    Is it really people vote?

Then you should appreciate the efforts led by Biden in the CHIPS act for the US to start manufacturing our own microchips.

Is Jeff Bezos an economist? Or does having a lot of money now overrule everything in the minds of Republicans?
