List one thing that shows that the Jesus character ever did anything worthy of worshiping him as a deity.
Once again I am proven correct that you are utterly incapable of substantiating any of your bogus allegations about atheists.
The question was, do you? I mean, if you are going to pass yourself off as an expert in historical theology I thought maybe you could.
It would be fascinating to read up on this re-animation of a dead human...please link the available data that I might verify it.
You're incapable of posting without your little ROFL crutch. Kind of like whistling past the graveyard, when you have nothing to say.
It's just me is right. Total waste of time to present anything to you. That rofl guy represents anything you have to say, which is to say nothing.
Amen. The western direction in government has shown a centuries long move toward a division between government and religion. And, our own foundation includes basic assumptions of religious pluralism and equal treatment. The whole idea of "Christian nation" is anti-American. In fact, it's counter to western progress in government.
Real Priests know the Bible was primarily written in Hebrew (OT) and Greek (NT): https://www.biblica.com/resources/bible-faqs/in-what-language-was-the-bible-first-written/ During the thousand years of its composition, almost the entire Old Testament was written in Hebrew. But a few chapters in the prophecies of Ezra and Daniel and one verse in Jeremiah were written in a language called Aramaic. This language became very popular in the ancient world and actually displaced many other languages. Aramaic even became the common language spoken in Israel in Jesus’ time, and it was likely the language He spoke day by day. Some Aramaic words were even used by the Gospel writers in the New Testament. The New Testament, however, was written in Greek. This seems strange, since you might think it would be either Hebrew or Aramaic. However, Greek was the language of scholarship during the years of the composition of the New Testament from 50 to 100 AD. The fact is that many Jews could not even read Hebrew anymore, and this disturbed the Jewish leaders a lot! So, around 300 BC a translation of the Old Testament from Hebrew into Greek was undertaken, and it was completed around 200 BC. Gradually this Greek translation of the Old Testament, called the Septuagint, was widely accepted and was even used in many synagogues. It also became a wonderful missionary tool for the early Christians, for now the Greeks could read God’s Word in their own tongue.
I don't believe this.... Not that I don't believe the Greek and Hebrew thing, I can't believe you didn't get the joke. Well, maybe that's not so hard to believe. This is why explaining things to people like you and Derideo is a waste of time.
It would seem you wish to double down on the Irony with a childish and pointless response to someone calling you out for your previous silliness.
Every time I turn around one of you fragile snowflakes is "calling me out" for some imaginary offense, but I'll bite, tough guy, what "silliness" are you referring to? I know you don't see the silliness in the remarks of people whose politics you share.
The list is too extensive to spend time trying to gather, so Ill just pick a recent one: When asked what your Jesus has done worth worshipping, you replied with "Rising from the Dead" which is very clearly and obviously an impossibility. Rather silly I would think.
Yeah, I know it's impossible, that's why it was such a big deal when Jesus did it. But I doubt if that's what your little friend was referring to. Is this where you "rationally" explain to me that you want to be free from religion while hanging out on a forum clearly marked "religion"? Now THAT's silly. Or maybe you just want to tell me what I believe before you mock it.
