    They'll certainly have to change, and quite quickly, or a third party may rise, the Democratic Socialists, and split their vote. They have the same tired bunch in control, getting crazier by the day, and no competent or respected people in the wings.

    Right ... but you still havent explained why it's OK to ignore constitutional requirements, while demanding benefit of constitutional protections contained within a single amendment. The last time democtatic states defied federal laws it led to war. No one believed it would escalate then, so I understand your disbelief, but I don't share it.

    I don't start threads with the sole intention of calling out the other side. Which is what MolonLabe2009, USConservative, and scores of others, do here every single day. And that tells me that the Conservative platform is absent coherent thought on any and all policies.

    Scalise nearly died as a bernie supporter shot him screaming about healthcare.

    I'd say the rhetoric is a bit charged.

    Democrats seem easily enraged, their leaders should be calming them.

    Their leaders are inciting violence and actively telling their progressive followers to confront people in restaurants and in other places. It's the same type of rhetoric they have been engaged in for decades and the same type of rhetoric that led to a Bernie Sanders supporter shooting people on a baseball diamond.

    In all honesty, I disagree. I think the Republicans have an actual message and things they want to accomplish while in power. What I find disturbing is the lack of civil discussion that we can have and that the leaders of the Democrat party refuse to have with each other.

    What is it Democrats are running on in 2018 midterms and in 2020 Presidential election. Right now, all I see is a hatred of Trump and if they get back power, endless investigations trying to smear, impeach, demean and throw people in jail for real or alleged crimes.
