Sorry but I didn't say any such thing. I would appreciate it if you didn't make things up and then pretend I said them. My arguement was not an arguement but an explanation as to why the Trump tax plan is so heavily skewed toward the rich. Namely the plan favors the rich because they have the political clout to get their way. There is no possible other reason for changing the inheritance tax which only the very very rich. Ant the dropping of thevrate on pass through income is very similar. It will basically only benefit those at the top bracket. That said Trump has lied when he said his plan is to benefit the middle class. Nobody at this point believes that lie.

The longevity and quality of survival depends more on logic than emotion.

Considering the direct monetary benefit many/most/all? the bottom 50% receive from government, it's probably true that any tax actually collected is exceeded by the benefit received, including FICA tax. Those who have no income as a result of their OWN labours truly live tax free.
