Like all Republicans, you have no answer. Republicans didn't do anything for 6 years but fight /stall/filibuster/ back up/ stop anything Democrats tried to do, now they need to do something constructive. They have two years , they better quit gloating and actually do something FOR Americans.

LOL! I KNEW that post was coming. Your memory is on Republican Fog Machine. You forgot what a mess Obama inherited and he was expected (by Republicans ) to clean it up within months. Repubs now have two years and IF they are so superior to Democrats that should be no problem....but already they're pathetically whining and blaming and since that's all they 've done I don't expect a change...

Well, they have to be GOOD bills......without wacky amendments...Reid did his job...

Now Republicans have no excuse now, let's see what they do .

I don't think either party does anything for Americans as a whole. Both parties adhere with the agenda they sell to their constituency. Until we get some real change, in the form of open debates between all candidates (PResidential and primaries), the public will keep voting these two arsonist parties into power, and nothing really will ever change.

The folks gloating about this victory, and the folks lamenting this defeat, will miss the bigger picture. We've had a century of control from both of these parties - over that century, the dollar has lost 90% of its value, we've had more then a handful of very deadly, extremely costly wars, we've lost massive amounts of manufacturing, we've seen corporate outsourcing reduce our jobs pool. These two parties are responsible for the dismantling of this entire nation. They need to own it.

Too bad they've strangled the body of american voters, and now it's just a corpse split fifty fifty between the two of them.

First thing the right should do is take away the unions Heathcare exemption. Like Obama promised there would be no exemption that everyone will do their share to help the poor and sick. Then lied and exempt the unions. I say make the unions pay more taxes toward ACA.

You are right. It wasn't the war on women but Obama's war on the middle class that turned this into a butt whipping.

Well for starters they sent over 190 bills to the Senate which Harry Reid immediately locked away rather then allow to come to a vote on the floor. Apparently enough citizens finally decided to become high-information voters to ignore the chronically-in-the-tank-for-Reid/Obama Mainstream Media spin and cover for this administration wonks and pundits and journalists to -- gasp! -- do a bit of research to discover which party was really being the obstructionist party for the last six years.

Last night they -- in the form of independent voters -- turned thumbs down on both Reid and Obama , meaning that sometimes you really cannot fool all of the voters all of the time. So -- hey now -- enjoy.

Even Biden admitted a week or so ago that they had left the middle class behind. Although that was somewhat inaccurate, since they were on a steady descent into Hell, maybe they took them with them.

Excellent post. They don't get it. They think it's the other side that's ruining the county. It's always the other guy's fault. The one you ideologically disagree with. The other party are the demons wishing to destroy America, all the while not realizing that they've been fed those talking points, and their side has played just as much a role in the defunct system. But it doesn't solve anything. Hope they enjoy their pyrrhic victory. Six years of obstructionism and demonizing the president is supposed to represent some sort of progress.

Ronald Reagan: “Where Collective Bargaining Is Forbidden, Freedom Is Lost”

From the mouth of the OG Republican, poster boy fascist Ronald Reagan. Right, he said that. I guess he wasn't "right" enough for you, though?

Point being, of this specific reply, is that you've bought into the grabass being played by both sides. Republicans and Democrats have absolutely nuked this nation. They need to own that destruction, by being ousted from all forms of public office. Frankly, it's amazing to me how much reds and blues like to pander to us independents when it comes time for election. We're the ultimate scapegoats - if a republican wins, democrats lament us voting red. If a democrat wins, republicans lament us voting blue.

I vote strictly gray, personally. Always will. Because unlike the vast majority of the bought out clowns that call themselves voting citizens of this nation, I hold those who destroy my country not only accountable, but I hold them in utter contempt.

Both parties are destructive arsonists. But yet, no one holds them accountable.

    How trite.

Neither party does jack sh*t for the middle class. It isn't marginalizing enough to pay attention to the majority. It's marginalizing when you pay attention to the absolute pinnacles of society, the rich, and the poor. Both parties like to play this little word game, but at the end of the day, focusing on either end of the spectrum makes for the best headlines and the most inflaming discussion.

Thus, neither party will continue to do nothing about the slow slide of the corpse of middle class America into the quagmire of partisan division and polarizing narratives. At the end of the day, it's all about earning votes, and doing so requires you to be at the center stage - and you do that by inflaming people, good or bad.

Obamacare has allowed millions to obtain affordable, decent health care insurance plus drastically cut the annual increases in the cost of healthcare and insurance. The national debt would have been paid off had Bush not decided to set course at maximum overdrive to take us there. In point of fact, the annual deficit has been drastically reduced since Obama took office. Jobs? Yeah, what is it now - 54 or 55 straight months of job growth with Republicans doing everything they possible can to retard it? Please do not let these facts spoil your future rants.
