Republicans understand democrats better than they understand themselves

Nope not at all the govt has a vested interest in the populous being as healthy, educated as possible. So should any decent citizen.

We do indeed. And the governments real job is to maintain a level playing field where you and all of us are free to pursue success and happiness as we see it. One of the ways this is done is to be sure that the guy next to you is not riding on your wagon, so he doesn't have to pull his own.

A team of winners usually wins- meaning each member of it wins too. Make that team carry a lot of dead weight, and things change... and nobody wins.

 

Perhaps you missed a couple Trump things- like Make America Great Again, America first. Maybe you missed the facts the more people by far feel that they are better off after the Trump years than they were under Obama or Bush. I think you missed a lot- and maybe, that is not accidental.

Maybe you listened to the liberals saying all Americans should be ashamed, we are all white supremacists, and CNN told you that bullcrap was coming from Trump.
I'll bet you watch a magician and actually believe that his assistant was magically transported from one box to another.

TikTok has done many wonderful things, but giving bullhorns to an army of idiots is not one of them. A perfect description of James Smith. An idiot's idiot who is stupid enough to be trickled down on and think that it is wonderful.

Not really- You lost, America lost. You allowed personality dislikes to over-ride performance levels, and replaced one of the best-producing presidents in decades with a band of monkeys that can't manage anything. Now, you get to watch them screw up all the gains.

While you were whining-

56% of Americans say they are better off today than they were four years ago That same metric was 45% for Obama- 47% for bush.
The economy is very strong, in the face of pandemic that should have already crashed it.
Unemployment triggered by pandemic layoffs is being reduced- from a high of almost 17% to less than half, now, in the 6% range.
The virus vaccines have been brought to market in record time, only about 20% of what it normally takes.
Retail sales are thriving in spite of it too. October sales this year was 6% above a year ago.
Home sales are very strong, home values rapidly rising.
The GDP is up.
This is the short list of things that actually matter to your quality of life that are directly related to Trump's presidency.


But it's not as long as the list of failures by the democrats, as shown by democrat-controlled areas.
Major riots- in a half dozen or more cities, with dem mayors and governors allowing cities to burn and be occupied while holding police back... and vast damage done.
Hundreds of national monuments destroyed or vandalized.
44 policemen killed, 283 shot this year. But the dems didn't notice that, they were busy supporting outrage over the wrongful death of a career felon. They helped crime flourish.
Homeless issues exploding. Human feces on the streets, hard drugs being legalized, big corporations and talent being driven out of dem strongholds by high taxes, excessive regulation and funding failed policies.
Collaborating with radicals in an effort to gain power- and sacrificing their integrity and your freedom to do it.

That's just a fragment of what they have already done. What they are going to do will be far more devastating.
Try Biden's $4 trillion dollar tax increase.
Legalizing 20 million illegal immigrants- which will make illegal entry the standard way to get here.

It's going to be a political circus- and at your expense, not to your benefit.

 

Nope, I think tax money is well spent on govt health care and education. Two cornerstones of prosperity are health and education, it is in my best interests that the populace is as healthy and educated as possible. You care only about yourself.

 

IF you cared about anybody- you would not others them for not patronizing your particular indulgence. If you think you believe people should get those things free- you certainly have the right to cash out and send them your money. When you start dictating that others must pay the cost of your idea- you need to ask about your own values.

 

My idea is that if you live in this society then you need to pay your share.
