• Who is forcing people to have auto insurance (and other forms of insurance)?
• Who is forcing people to wear seat belts in their vehicles?
• Who is forcing people to stay away from their dying relatives ("in the name of COVID")?
• Who is slowly trying to force people into driving electric vehicles rather than gasoline vehicles?
• Who is slowly trying to force people into using wind/solar energy vs carbon/hydrocarbon-based energy?
• Who is slowly trying to force people into eating plant-based "meat" rather than real meat?
• Who is slowly trying to force all citizens to give up their guns to the government and their brown-shirts?
• Who is slowly trying to force people into a digital ID/digital currency system in order to wield an ungodly amount of control over said people's lives?

What about the don't rely on a condom but it you do and it breaks their is medication to insure you will not get pregnant? How about what percent of all abortions are do to failed BC?

I remember reading a study a while back that showed the majority of unwanted pregnancies were caused by lackluster haphazard use of birth control.
In other words, if that birth control was "normally" 98.5% effective, it was only 40 or 50% effective the way those women were using it.

FreshAir tried to argue that the fetus having a "high" chance of dying was a reason that killing it is not "that" bad.
I was simply trying to point out the chance of it dying is not actually that high by the time many women get their abortion.

Then I pointed out that FreshAir's argument could even work a little bit against the Pro-Choice position they are trying to argue.

 

But you're trying to shift the argument again.

Tell me, FoxHastings, why does it seem you never want to discuss specific arguments in a thread that is actually all about that argument????

It really seems to me like your strategy is to constantly try to deflect, to change the argument to something else.

Like you can't win any single argument, so you just want to constantly throw ten others at the person in that debate and make them try to defend them all.

I see what you do is constantly shift the goalposts. You say "That doesn't matter because of this", "This doesn't matter because of that", but it ultimately comes around full circle. So you don't even have a single argument that it finally comes down to.

If I press you on ANY argument, in a special thread which is actually about that, you always try to just divert to a different argument.

Denials about what happens in an abortion as I have clearly stated. And there is a "Hate babies" side and it ain't me, if you want to engage in such specious allegation instead of a civil discussion that will come back at ya.

How ever if you want to have a civil discussion about abortion and any rights about it then If you support the practice of abortion as it exist in this country, support making abortion a legal act in this country, support the government forcing taxpayers to pay for abortions in this country, then that is pro-abortion by definition. I suppose that the freedom to go to school all the way to a Doctorate, to start a business, to be secure in ones life, to cross local, county and state lines in the entire nation, to own land and home, to practice ones religion of choice, to speedy trial, to be judged by a jury of your peers, to representation, to protest, to speak freely, to enjoy the fruits of your labors, and on and on.
