You might actually be surprised there; many norther Italians are blonde, fair skinned, some in the far north also speak German. All the same I see your point.
I don't think so. Fascism grew to gain power. It does have some communist elements but it replaced a very badly managed capitalist economy, not a communist one. It was itself replaced by a better capitalist economy.
Nice misdemeanor. You mean as opposed to the far right actually BEING fascists? And negatively reacting to fascists isn't fascism - its a natural defense mechanism for all freedom loving people.
What is most concerning to me is the ongoing erosion of public trust in our institutions, and now having an elected president who cries "illegal!" and "hoax!" and all sorts of other incendiary, blatantly false and damaging things on a daily basis just to try and cover his own backside. How long before his cult takes up their freedumb guns in violent revolution because they really think our government is somehow illegitimate? Next election? Trump was calling 2016 "rigged" before he won it (with Russian assistance)..
trad replaced but retaining free healthcare, social housing, welfare, and post secondary academic and trade education, maternal leave, and stuff like that there. For those who claim fascists were socialists, I guess using the same logic the german capitalist system is also fascist.
Wouldn't it be great if our institutions deserved our trust? Why decry our lack of trust in corrupt institutions? Wouldn't it be better to demand honesty from those institutions?
Well, a great deal of that supposedly trust could be redeemed overnight if trumpettes stopped drinking the koolaid their lyin' cheatin' crooked Deranged Dear Leader keeps serving. Poor misunderstood innocent victim of loser butthurt and whiny little bitch that he is.
Oh I expect institutions not to lie to the people. But I also think a bunch of bullshit unsubstantiated accusations about those institutions doesn't make what they say lies. You know like all those "fake news" accusations by trump that turned out to be true and he was the one peddling fake news.
Huh? Dude! The Fake News have been proven to be frauds. WTF man? "the evidence was not sufficient to support criminal charges."
On conspiracy charges specifically. And, for all the caterwauling from Trump and his followers about "fake news" I never saw news programs definitively stating otherwise, unless for some reason you count the occasional opinion piece.
I don't know what counts as the occasional opinion piece. CNN, MSNBC, The View, and others pushed the hoax 24/7.
See previous post. "The View" is all opinion. It isn't the news. MNBC does as bad of a job as Fox, maybe worse, of separating news from opinion, but I watched CNN during this time and they were typically much more guarded about their claims that you are presenting. Again, see previous post.
Our economic gains have been on the same basic upward trend for the past several years, regardless of who was president. Trump's anti-capitalist, anti-market trade wars are one of the current biggest threats to that success.
Did you even try to read the previous post before "responding"? Try again. Hard fail. You literally didn't get a single thing right.
I see you are a professional cherry picker. I guess you missed "does not exonerate the president". And he remains an unindicted co-conspirator with Cohen who is going to jail for doing stuff to protect the president at his direction. go figger.
Every time that I tuned in to one of those channels, all they did was push hate for Trump. Maybe I missed the times that they reported straight news.
