Yeah, you are blaming all the good things happening under Trump on Obama but none of the bad things. I find it hilarious.
I find it hilarious that you didn't read my post the first time and now, after being reminded that you should actually try reading my post, you still haven't read it. Third time's a charm? One again, everything you say in your post is completely wrong, except for the humor you find in your complete reading comprehension failure. Are we seriously to the point that I have to explain what the word "regardless" means? Really?
Maybe. I might not be following the line here. Please show me where I failed. Would you kindly show what you mean? I honestly think that I was consistent with my posts. The only thing, that I can see, might be an unfair expectation that I watch CNN and MSNBC all day long.
Your posts indicate otherwise. You've claimed that I "blame" (by which you must mean "credit") Obama for the good things that happened to the economy under his watch. Not only are you imagining things, because the post you quoted said nothing of the kind, but I've stated the opposite at least a dozen times on the forums by now, closer to two dozen. You also claim I don't believe Obama deserves any blame, which is also objectively false since I've also said he took actions that likely slowed down growth. I'll remind you: I'm to the right of Trump on economic issues. You claim you "get it" but you have yet to get a single thing right about my post. Again, try paying attention to the use of the word "regardless." That means the trend didn't care who was in office, which is a pretty good indicator that neither deserve credit for it. I'm not sure how to make that more clear. Yes, every economic trend Trump takes credit for is a trend he inherited. Every single one. Without fail. Employment? He inherited an upward trend. Manufacturing jobs? Ditto. The S&P 500? Ditto. NASDAQ? Ditto. Dow Jones? Ditto. GDP? Ditto. The only people who credit Trump for his "economic miracle" are those who can't read a graph or refuse to do so. Does that mean that Obama gets the credit? No. The trends did start while he was in office, not while Trump was in office, but not all of us have fallen for the ludicrous superstition that everything that happens to the economy is due to the Almighty Executive. The biggest threat to the growth trend currently is Trump's trade war. It isn't just me saying that. That's the consensus among economists, including several Nobel laureates. Protectionism is bad for growth. Center, right-of-center (mostly right-of-center, in fact) and even left-of-center (just not far left) economists have acknowledged this since 1776.
Bwaaahahahahaaa! You're hopes and dreams rest upon persecuting someone for talking about obstruction of injustice? Make that argument to the American people. You can tell them: Hey, we came up with this hoax to overthrow the elected President. He wanted to block our efforts. That's a crime! Haaahahahahaaa!
"Eight years ago, foreign intelligence services “met with campaign contacts and staff, used human source networks for policy insights, exploited technology to get otherwise sensitive data, engaged in perception management to influence policy,” https://apnews.com/936b3fe969a540559ecc7503a547e2ad Weird, no? Why is this time so different? Because seditionists wanted to take down the elected President that they didn't want?
OK. You don't care. You, apparently, just want your side to win. I see that you dont care what corrupt methods are used. Of what worth are your ideals if they can only win through cheating?
Fascism requires communism to grow, it only ever gained power as an alternative to communism. FDR did a comprehensive study on it to see if it was a threat to the US. Without communism there is no threat of fascism...
Fascist dictatorships have no checks on their power. Last time I checked we have courts, and a congress. Drama queen much?
Perhaps you should remind your fearless leader of the separation of powers that lousy piece of paper he swore to uphold defines. Seems he ain't too impressed.
Who said you were? Course all that was cleared up was that America isn't a dictatorship. It says nothing about trump catering to fascists within his base, however.
And THAT is why Trump won. When folks like you say that Trump's base are fascists and that he's creating a dictatorship you come across as biased, elitist and sneering at ordinary people who simply disagree with you. The people who support Trump are just sick of your attitude, that's why they're prepared to support him despite his myriad and glaring flaws.
And your response indicates that you object to fact. Not all trump supporters, but enough of them are racists and its a FACT that trump has retweeted far right propaganda and has called them "nice people". The recent convictions of some of the fascists for their active promotion and participation in the charlottesville goosestepping funfest. So the accusation that within the Trump base resides these scumbags of humanity. Its the right wing fringe afterall. I don't claim the left wing fringe ain't inhabited by some just as scummy folk, but they a different breed. I get that you are sick of this attitude because a lot of "decent folk" who support trump aren't fascists, or white nationalists or plain ol' racists. But when you lie with dogs ya gotta expect fleas. Its not like trump doesn't overtly support some on the lunatic fringe.
