Hours after news reports that Justice Department senior leadership(aka Trump&Barr) now believe the 7 to 9 year prison time recommended for Roger Stone was too harsh, although the Justice Department has not made this news official. Trump on Monday night had said the recommended sentence was "horrible" and "very unfair".
Part of the logic for the lengthy jail recommendation were based on Stone's threatening behavior. He had posted an image of the judge of his case with a picture of a crosshairs next to her head. Prosecutors also said Stone used threats of violence to intimidate his Wikileaks intermediary comedian and talk show host Randy Credico by telling him in writing,"Prepare to die". All done to keep Credico silent.

Two of the Federal prosecutors assigned to the case have resigned as a result of the Justice department interference into the sentencing. U.S Atty. Aaron Zelinsky has resigned from the case and has returned to Maryland and his fellow attorney Jonathon Kravis has also resigned in protest to the interference.

They had already got a Federal judge to hand down prison time well below Federal guidelines to another Dirty Donald cohort Paul Manafort for his flagrant violations of a multitude of Federal laws including tax evasion. Our SWAMP is more than overflowing with the current criminal in the White House and his FLUNKY at the Justice department.

Latest news is that the remaining two Federal prosecutors n the case have now also resigned, so now all4 Federal prosecutors pursuing the case have resigned due to presidential and FLUNKY A.G. interference in the case.

Really? You're pulling my leg. That's great! Four, four of them quit; that's great. Like I've been saying for years now,
President Trump Sr. has an uncanny way of getting those who would sell us out and sell us off to expose themselves by trying to get him. No one is faking their hatred for President Trump Sr., and all of the right people hate him. Four less swamp rats, that's great. Drain that swamp.

The new filing from the DoJ does not make a sentencing recommendation, leaving it up to the court

So what gives? Something to consider. Stone knows the details he hid from Mueller about the extent of the cooperation between Wikileaks, the Russians, and the campaign with respect to the hacked material released by Wikileaks. Perhaps Don is sending a message to Stone to keep quiet and wait for a post election pardon.

Trump talked to Roger Stone about WikiLeaks, Rick Gates says in testimony contradicting the president

One by one, the career prosecutors, two of whom had worked on Mueller’s investigation, filed notices in court of their intention to leave the case. Though none of the prosecutors gave a reason, their asking to do so was highly unusual and suggested they could not ethically affix their names to the government’s revised position.

Career Justice Department lawyers similarly moved in 2018 to withdraw from a case when the Trump administration decided it would not defend the Affordable Care Act against a challenge to its constitutionality. One of those lawyers resigned over the matter.

Don continues to smear his shyte on everything he touches and in so doing keeps making the country weaker.

Trump likes criminals to get off light. Obviously, so do you. Party of Law and Order??

Drain the swamp? Trump have done nothing but to add to the swamp, then drain the swamp of his own making all to your cheering. Now that's funny. ;)

Rick gates the only real criminal in the enterprise says stone talked to Trump. Zippidy do da. I'm quite sure everyone in DC and both campaigns was talking to everyone about WikiLeaks after the first info dump. This a block buster the way talking about the weather is a blockbuster. Stone was basically arrested for trying to obtain the same info every other politically aware would be journalist in the country was trying to obtain.

Stone wouldn't even have been talked to if he'd been working for Hillary instead if Trump. Same with Manafort who was convicted on the basis of fraudulent docs from Ukraine.

So..........your reflexive reaction to even more overt corruption by Individual 1 is to accuse 4 prosecutors who were doing their job of being swamp rats? IOW, anyone who does anything against the wishes of Don must be purged regardless of whether it was the proper thing to do. Got it.

The sham coup attempt failed, and now it's payback.

    Payback is big fun.

    Payback is a warm kitten.

What's that thing they say about payback?

What we are seeing is Trumpette's pretending to be OK with more, overt corruption because rather than admit to the embarrassing reality their boy is out of control they are doubling down on supporting him.
