Stone was convicted of obstructing a congressional inquiry by the House Intelligence Committee into Russian interference in the 2016 election, lying to investigators under oath and trying to block the testimony of a witness who would have exposed his lies.

But he did so in order to cover up Don's (and his own) criminality.

Is Stone the next recipient of the Medal of freedom?

Trump is trying to prove his point that he could shoot somebody on Fifth Avenue and not get in trouble.

How does that make you feel? How do you deal with all of this going on around you? Do you tell yourself that he won't be reelected?

Well actually what we are seeing is the roll back if prosecutorial over reach. You don't get to assume someone lied just because he won't tell you what you want to hear. What we are starting to see is the end if a bunch of politically motivated Star chamber prosecutions all of which lack a predicate much he knows Trump let's get him.

The complicity runs thru the entire POT. Where are the congressional Repubs speaking out about this? Answer: they don't dare to.

Prosecutors In Roger Stone’s Case Found Out About DOJ Reversal Through Fox News
    https://talkingpointsmemo.com/news/...found-out-about-doj-reversal-through-fox-news

The four (now former) prosecutors in Roger Stone’s criminal case reportedly weren’t told directly that the Justice Department would be watering down their recommended prison sentence of seven to nine years on Tuesday.

The New York Times reported that the four prosecutors, Aaron Zelinsky, Adam Jed, Jonathan Kravis and Michael Marando, found out about the DOJ’s shocking decision only after hearing about it on Fox News.

The prosecutors withdrew from Stone’s case when news of the sentence reversal emerged. One of them, Assistant U.S. attorney Jonathan Kravis, resigned from the Justice Department entirely.

4 Mueller prosecutors hand picked by a attendee of the Hillary victory party decided that being a big shot should carry twice the penalty of rape and 3 times the penalty of manslaughter ,,, and an Obamunist judge pretty much agreed. This was the punchline of the joke that was the Mueller investigation which wasn't an investigation, but the fabrication of crimes that hadn't been committed until after Mueller was hired.

That Barr weighed in is a message that indictments arising from the Durham investigation are about to drop.

What can be more corrupt than an American president interjecting himself and his biases into the sentencing of three of his criminal underlings.

It's time for Billy the Bagman to resign................though I doubt Capt. Chaos would accept it................since it took him so long to find a lapdog willing to do his bidding.

Barr Agrees To Testify Before House Judiciary Committee On 3/31, Dems Say

Remember the rule of thumb amidst the Liar-in-Chief's denials on getting involved in the Stone sentencing. Don lies all the time about everything..........all the time.

The reason for Trump's precedent shattering meddling to help a personal friend is obvious..........

Roger Stone Is Convicted of Impeding Investigators in a Bid to Protect Trump
Mr. Stone, a longtime informal adviser to President Trump, obstructed one of Congress’s Russia investigations and lied to lawmakers.
    https://www.nytimes.com/2019/11/15/us/politics/roger-stone-trial-guilty.html

Mr. Stone, 67, was convicted in federal court of seven felonies for obstructing the congressional inquiry, lying to investigators under oath and trying to block the testimony of a witness whose account would have exposed his lies. Jurors deliberated for a little over seven hours before convicting him on all counts. Together, the charges carry a maximum prison term of 50 years.

That must have been why a jury of Stone’s peers found him guilty. I suppose citizens are now part of the deep state.

I tell myself there are a lot of foolish people who won't learn their lesson and so they will vote for Trump again.

Trump and his supporters don't believe in the Constitution. Unless it is the 2nd amendment.

Anyone who disagrees with Trump or points out his corruption is vulnerable to be labeled as part of the fictitious deep state.
