    The oppertunites already exist

    Stay in school, dont do drugs, dont become a single parent dropout, dont do crimes and get a criminal record

    Just study hard and work hard and good things will happen

    But ignore my good advice and poor people will screw up their chances and pay for it the rest of their lives

    In other words you are doing exactly squat to provide them the opportunities they need and just blaming them for making "poor choices" when they don't have the opportunity to even make a better choice.

    Because if they make bad choices in life nothing will help and your affection will only make things worse for them in the long run

    It's really tiring the way the left place certain groups upon pedestals and then go out of their way to ignore the poor behaviors and decisions among people in those groups that contribute to and cause poor life outcomes and instead blame it all on society in one form or another going on about how we "made" them.

    Arguments like these were designed as attacks on society and nothing more.

    Poor people who dropped out of school, get pregnant as teenagers, do drugs or get in trouble with the law are the reason for their poverty not you or I

    Ah...the grammar police. I am a teacher and an author. I always told my students when writing a rough draft, not to worry about usage ...these are all rough drafts here I’d prefer great ideas to great grammar, you seem to respect stupid ideas grammatically correct. We just have different values
