I came across this, which conflicts with Western propaganda about the situation in Ukraine. It's from the list of countries by GDP (PPP) per capita.

(So called) Totalitarian Putin’s Russia $29,267

    African Namibia $11,229

(So called) Free democratic European Ukraine $9,283

As we know, many Ukrainians went to Russia to work so they can hold on to their lands in Ukraine. Many have acquired Russian citizenship as well as visas. Russia has now simplified the process so many more will be doing so, since they need Russian citizenship to protect them from attacks.

I always wondered if the workers in Russia from Ukraine, have formed militias so when the time comes, they can fight and take back their country?

Over 80 thousand Ukrainians received Russian citizenship during 2018, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation reported.

According to the ministry, 81,081 citizens of Ukraine received a Russian passport during the past year. At the same time, 77 thousand applications were received for the issuance of a temporary residence permit to Ukrainians in Russian territory. 160.7 thousand Ukrainians are currently in Russia on the basis of such permits.

Of course, substantially more new citizens from Ukraine is expected in 2019 as Russia recently simplified the requirements and opened two new processing centers specifically for Ukrainians.

Less than 100 Russian citizens got Ukrainian citizenship in 2018.

You're very subjective. I guess the genocide of Christians in your mind means nothing? We were supporting ISIS and Al Nusra in Syria to overthrow the secular and legitimate Assad government. Whenever they were being defeated by the Syrian army, all the terrorists needed to do was have a false flag chemical attack, and our jets came flying to their rescue.

Had Putin not intervened in the first attack, and had he not examined the chemicals used; and had Britain not panicked and told Obama not to bomb Damascus - which at the time was a safe haven for Christians, it would have turned into the biggest massacre in history.

Did Obama know that it was a false flag attack? Of course he did. When the truck carrying the components for the chemical attack was at the Turkish/Syria border, it was stopped by the guards. Fidan, the head of Turkish Intelligence panicked and told them to let the truck go - but it was too late. Gulen's newspaper Zatan got whiff of it, and it was brought up by Erdogan's opposition in their parliament.

Turkey wasn't the only one involved in the chemical attack, Saudi Arabia was too. Both of them were waiting for Obama to bomb Damascus so they could march in and grab what they could. The Turkish border was lined with troops, and after Obama backed out, the Saudis were furious with him. Saudi friendship with Washington has never been the same since then.

No we're not. We went in to support the Syrian people in their effort to overthrow an autocratic dictator who was killing them for protesting. There is nothing at all legitimate about such a government, but then an unswerving fan of Russia's own autocratic president-for-life wouldn't really get that, would she?

I don't bother to ask where you're getting this "false flag" crap from, because the ultimate source is bound to be disinformation fed to western audiences by the Putin and/or Assad regime themselves. You have absolutely no capacity for discerning what is true and what is disinformation, because you are hopelessly biased from the outset.

I thought that this was unsubstantiated field intel from captured taliban who claimed the cash they had on hand came from Russians. How does that translate to our President not caring about our troops?

Assad is the legitimately elected President of Syria as proven in the video below. Kerry's original excuse for not recognizing the election was that Assad was running and he was bound to win, simply because most Syrian people wanted to retain their secular and all inclusive life style. They did not want sharia law.

After the election, Kerry wouldn't accept the election because a war was going on - even though an election and war was going on in Ukraine at the same time, and anyone representing the East and South of the country was thrown in trash cans and under threat not to run. Of course Kerry accepted that election. What an affront to any intelligent human being.

Here's a bit of reality to undo your propaganda. It's the American observers telling of their experiences at the UN.

No election that is used to validate the rule of a murdering thug like Assad can be considered "legitimate"

Are you implying that any leader that kills foreign terrorists is a murdering thug? Would the same hold true for leaders of other countries as well - like for instance France, Britain, Israel, etc.?

You live in the USA and of course you know what people in Syria want, better than the Syrians. Do you even know where Syria is located on the map? Do you know how many people in the world hate Americans for this self-confidence? Do you know how many people in the USA want to rob, rape, kill? Why don't someone give them "help"?

Assad has killed a staggering number of his own people. Both sides of the political divide in the U.S. have agreed on that. Assad should've been killed by the U.S. years ago and his father prior to that.

That's for the Syrians to decide, not us. Why don't you google search churches in Syria.....and then do the same in Saudi Arabia. Tell me which dictator allows christianity. Then ask yourself why isn't the U.S. killing the house of Saud?

Pathetic - and ironic - indeed.

Far too many Democrat voters will happily support sociopathic war criminals.

    As long as they're Democrats.

    See the monster Obama.

People die in war - especially defending your country against an extremist Islamist Jihadi proxy army - one armed and supported and supplied by a large coalition of Nations led by Obama - who killed far more Syrians - and who was responsible for far more atrocity - genocide - war crimes and crimes against humanity than Assad.

That is a simple statement of historical fact.

You mean a bit of propaganda to try and undo reality.

Presidential elections were held in Syria on 3 June 2014. There is a scholarly consensus that the election was not democratic.[1][2][3]

Because of the Syrian Civil War which began in March 2011, Syria has the largest refugee population in the world and voting for refugees in certain foreign countries began at Syrian embassies several days before voting in Syria.[4] Domestic and foreign-based Syrian opposition groups boycotted the election and the vote did not take place in large parts of Syria under rebel control.[4][5][6] The areas under Kurdish militia control also did not allow voting due to the refusal of the government to recognize their claim for regional autonomy, though some people traveled to government–controlled areas to vote.[7]

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_Syrian_presidential_election

It's easy to "win" an election when the opposition is unable or unwilling to vote.

Prove it. By citing an unbiased source. And "unbiased source" CANNOT be one that supports Assad.

Pompeo warns Taliban against attacking Americans amid reports of Russian bounties

    Key Points
    • Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s conversation with the Taliban comes on the heels of an explosive report by The New York Times that Russia paid the Taliban bounties to target and kill U.S. troops in Afghanistan.
    • “The Secretary made clear the expectation for the Taliban to live up to their commitments, which include not attacking Americans,” State Department spokesperson Morgan Ortagus said in a Tuesday statement.
    • White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said Tuesday that President Donald Trump was not briefed on the matter because the allegations had not been verified by the intelligence community.
    https://www.cnbc.com/2020/06/30/pom...ing-americans-amid-russian-bounty-report.html

It's up to everyone else with a public voice to speak up and say what Trump still refuses to come out and say (he would rather call it "fake news" and basically side with Russia - again!)

Assuming the bounty claim is true what would you suggest the U.S. do to the Russians?

You mean like Congress ? - or would you prefer the DIA - under Flynn - which is why Obama hates him so much.

Or would you prefer something else ? Red congressman or blue - pick your color.

Thought you said you were a history teacher ... This is recent history. Were you not aware that Obama was arming the Islamist proxy army against Assad in Syria ?

And neither source has anything to do with Assad - so your fears are arrested.
