Elite driven economic, the cheapest labor cost possible is destroying the middle class. You can have a large middle and a reasonable profit, or a tiny middle class and maximization of profits. That is what the real world, reality evidences, just using american history as the example.

Americans will not accept the old USSR as their model. It is not in our genetics. Unless we keep bringing in people from nations that failed as badly as the old USSR.

We allowed our western elites to teach prior communists how to become oligarchs, instead of helping the new russia to create what we once created in america by responsible, non greed driven businessmen, and of course we had to use our gov't in order to keep these people reasonable, and placing the US and her people above their own maximization of profits.

We taught russians the worst form of capitalism ever to exist, even as our own gov't allowed these kind of capitalists to buy out the american gov't, in exchange for keeping these politicians in power, by financing their elections.

That is my own perception, and I think it is more or less factual, and valid. Our current hysteria in regards to russia is driven by the self interests of our neocons in both parties, their ideology and by an unhealthy, sick, political partisanship that was already horrible, but got an injection of growth hormone when hillary, who was supposed to be a shoe in, lost to someone like trump.

The US, a part of it, including its gov't, that trump walked into, has gone basically insane and are so irresponsible these days. Hopefully we as a People can survive it, and this nation as well. And move back to logic, rationality and reason. But I am not hopeful, and it would take perhaps a complete economic implosion and the suffering seen in 3rd world shi*t holes in order to wake americans up. I think given our fiscal health, and what the globalists are doing to america and americans, this is perhaps a given, inevitable. A helluva thing.

I think Russia sold about 80% of US securities in the past three months. It was a response to sanctions, but it's not the first time. The war has been on the petro dollar and dollar in general from the start of the sanctions on Russia. But it's not only Russia. Destroying the dollar as a world currency and using other exchanges to stop our war machine, is something the Bric nations had wanted to do for years. They just needed the Russian initiative to start the ball rolling.

For the past 5 years Russia, China as well as other nations - but to a lesser degree, have been buying up 'physical' gold. The stock of gold is limited and depleting at a fast rate, and if the world currency is based on it, then what?

Trolls will always accuse others of being trolls. It's a dead give a way. They usually need the money though, so I feel bad for them.

The US Federal Budget is larger than the entirety of the Russian Economy. I think it'll be okay.

Trump has not taken more steps than obama. That is a demonstrably provable lie in bumpersticker format. I know ya got a million of em.

Not a damn thing to help Russia? BULLSHIT. Blundering around Europe goring NATO ALLIES right left and center in the week before his Putin date, didn't help Vladdie. Elevating the leader of one of the planets most crooked dictatorships to equal status, forgiving all sins, blaming america for bad relations, apparently making all kinds of verbal promises that only Donnie and Vlad know about. Idiotically suggesting it was a great offer to let Meuller interview the 12 GRU members in exchange for Russia getting the former US ambassador and Browder, among other american citizens ON VLADDIES HIT LIST. Nah, he aint' helping Russia at all.

How friggin stupid do you have to be to think your bumpersticker bullshit is at all representative of reality? I'd call it Trump Delusion Syndrome but I know you don't have that particular disease, although it does appear as tho you are a carrier.

    Well then let's play.

List the steps Obama took against Russia in Syria, Ukraine, and in the "hacking" of the DNC. Go ahead.

Yeah, Trump called out NATO for spending more money in Russia than they do on their defense from Russia.

BULLSHIT ON NATO SPENDING. Trump was waging a fight that had already been fought and won by Obama.

Your idiotic insistence that facts aren't facts is typical trumpian bullshit. NATO nations were increasing their defense spending for the past three years since Obama got agreement in 2014. Trump is a moron.
NATO NATIONAL DEFENSE BUDGET 2018 $240 BILLION
AMERICAS DEFENSE BUDGET IN EUROPE $39BILLION.
RUSSIA DEFENSE BUDGET $80 BILLION -
TOTAL EU OIL & GAS IMPORTS from Russia $40B.

    Sure.

We can discuss how it's spending as a % of GDP is still lower than it was when he left vs. when he got into office if you'd like.

Letting the spending drop for 5 years straight before trying to get it to go back up some isn't an accomplishment.

EXACTLY WHICH IS WHY OBAMA GOT THE AGREEMENT THREE YEARS AGO.

Just can't let a stupid fallacious trumpian argument go. After all only bullies and egomaniacs fight fights that have already been won, while declaring victory. According to your Dear Leader, the NATO meetings were an "acknowledged triumph"!!!!!!

Yep keep calling white black and black white. The delusion is strong.

NATO expenditures were lower when Obama left office than when he entered.

    That's all that matters.

One more thing he failed at.

Yes that is what happens when there's been years of steady decline. It takes a while to come back.

You know like that Trillion dollar deficit and blown economy that Obama inherited.

But keep contorting. You are always be able to find some sort of rationale no matter how twisted it must be. In fact, its a notable skill of yours.

Go argue with the people who clearly showed it did absolutely nothing, other than remove all the working cheap cars from the market.

While some margarines have a brand name “I Cannot Believe It’s Not Butter”, I am one of those people that can’t believe this junk thread is not closed for violating all posting rules and I cannot believe that some people are trying to have a conversation over something that was started by someone who clearly has absolutely no idea what he was talking about.
    Shame on you!

You mean the opinions that mirror yours? Nah, I'll take the end results as evidence of the plans effectiveness. Or didn't you notice that the american automobile industry has rebounded quite nicely after being on the brink of bankruptcy?

I agree that the cash for clunkers program didn't work the way it was intended to and had a short term negative economic impact to a small but significant degree.

But bailing out the auto industry was a FAR FAR FAR bigger deal that the $3 billion spent on that program. And you well know that.
